Well as I won something I thought an acceptance speach was in order, so here it goes: I am very proud to be the winner of the Worst Xbox 360 Connection Award and to cause my fellow gamers to have lagging traffic and all other associated problems that come with me having a connection issue. I am suprised it was me as there was alot of people who deserve this award more than me, like those on Virgin Media who I thought would have beaten me. LAS VEGAS, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp's Xbox video gaming unit still fully backs Toshiba Corp's HD-DVD high-definition DVD format but could consider supporting Sony Corp's rival Blu-ray technology should consumers want it, an executive said on Tuesday. "It should be consumer choice; and if that's the way they vote, that's something we'll have to consider," Albert Penello, group marketing manager for Xbox hardware said when asked whether Microsoft would support a Blu-ray DVD accessory in the event that HD-DVD failed. Microsoft does not believe the surprise decision last week by Time Warner Inc unit Warner Bros, the top seller of home movies, to abandon HD-DVD format in favor of Blu-ray should affect sales of its Xbox 360 video game console, Penello said. "I fundamentally don't think ... this has a significant impact on Xbox 360 versus (Sony's) PlayStation 3," Penello told Reuters in an interview at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. "With the PlayStation 2, DVD was a big part in the beginning, but over time, people were not buying it as a DVD player after first year or two," Penello said. The Xbox 360 supports a plug-in HD-DVD accessory that is bought separately, while Sony, hoping to give its next-generation video format a leg up, built a Blu-ray player into its PlayStation 3 machine. "You can't say it's not a bummer, not a setback, but I've seen this battle declared over so many times," Penello said of Warner's decision. The focus for Microsoft's CES 2008 keynote was the departure of chairman Bill Gates and the future of Windows. Among the operating systems, convergent devices and celebrity cameos however, the billionaire dropped news that the UK would be the first country to receive on-demand IPTV content via the Xbox 360. The deal, which sees the American firm partner with UK-based telecom giant BT, will see the Xbox 360 console used as a device to receive content from the BT Vision service. When the software update arrives in mid-2008, Vision subscribers will be able to access a library of on-demand content that includes movies, television and sports events. The Xbox 360 service will be fully integrated into the system dashboard, which will allow Xbox Live connection for simultaneous voice chat and instant messaging, as well as access to the other services on offer. BT Vision has been available in the UK since December 2006. It allows BT subscribers who pay a minimum £17.99 a month subscription to receive on-demand media over a broadband connection, as well as standard free-to-air digital TV. Films currently retail at £1.99 to £2.99 per rental, TV shows at £0.79, and music videos at £0.29, whereas unlimited themed-content packs are priced at £6 a month. Currently, this content is displayed only via BT's 'V-box' hardware, a device that also lets users watch and record live Freeview TV. Although the Xbox 360 won't offer the live TV aspect of the package, there is a possibility that it will offer some compatibility with existing hardware. BT spokesperson Adam Liversage told CNET.co.uk's sister site GameSpot UK that the company is looking into the possibility of streaming live content around the home using the V-box unit. He also pointed out that although the vast majority of on-demand content will be accessible by the Xbox 360, Setanta Sports' football coverage will be exempted. BT's 'near-live' coverage, in which matches are shown in full a few hours after the end of live games, will be offered instead. Dan Marks, CEO of BT Vision, went on to say: "For the first time, consumers in the UK will be able to experience the advantages of an advanced TV service together with the benefits of next-generation gaming. Our aim is to provide BT Vision on multiple platforms -- giving customers greater convenience, control and flexibility over what they watch, when they watch, and how they watch TV. Run a connection test on your 360. Its in the Purple blade under network settings. If after the test you have a NAT setting of Strict or Moderate that will be your problem. Depending on what way you connect your 360 to the net will depend on how to get rid of the problem.

Khevo is that the one that says there is content it can't find or the one that says your using an old save and says it will limit online play?? This may be old news but I thought I'd post it. I've Just been searching the Marketplace and the DLC has been removed completely, and on the inside xbox tab above friends lists they have removed the article about the DLC.
