At least Ssangyong had a legit connection to Mercedes. They used their engines under licence in some of their earlier cars. The Musso in particular. I think it was the old old E-Class' 2.3l

It's just unbelievable how many teams are dropping like flies. I won't be surprised to see a few more F1 teams dropping out mid-season like Super Aguri this year due to the global economy. But Subaru pulling out of WRC is unthinkable. It's the car brand most associated with rallying and vice versa. The moment someone thinks car rallies, they think blue and yellow (okay, blue and silver this year but you get my point). Back when Mitsubishi pulled out I wasnt following motorsports so avidly so it didn't affect me too much but this is incredible and such a shame. Almost all motorsports have gone to pot recently. I want the sort of racing they showed on the TG Touring Cars vid!

IMO I dont care as long as the racing is tight and good

swims in spaghetti: The multiplayer is finally working? And anyone else have this problem? Everytime I quit the game or try to alt-tab it, it restarts the com. Anyone know how to fix it?

I'll tell you something else... Getting it installed is SUCH a pain... 45mins for actual installation, and another 45mins after that trying to get the blasted thing working! First I have to sign up on Rockstar Social Club, then I want to put off signing up on Windows LIVE Games till later, to which the game says I HAVE to download Windows LIVE in order to play... So I duly download and install it, and lo and behold! It doesn't work! Gets as far as the yellow Rockstar logo in the intro music then says "Fatal error MMA10" or something like that. Cue much cursing and swearing, so I check Google if there's a way round this problem. It finally works but now since I don't have a Windows LIVE Games account, I can't save my game! So what do I do? No choice, register an account. I tell you, this was easily the most difficult games installation I EVER had to do... (The trick round the MMA10 error is to not log in to Rockstar Social Club. It means you can't play multiplayer, but single player is fine
