I have found it's the same for me. After games being hyped up too much and then being a letdown, I see no point in getting uber excited over the release of any game.

Hey all, another cruise this week. Details as follows: Day: Friday 25th of April 2008. Time: 7:30pm AEDT (GMT+10). Meeting Place: HCICK (see image below) Cars: Any you feel very comfortable in, There will be lots of turning involved at some point! So if you want bring your drifter in H-Core mode. Other limitations: 150KM/h Speed Limit, Follow TDU road laws (stop at stop signs, only overtake when there are the correct lines. ect.), If someone crashes, keep going, 150KM/h is not fast, they can catch up! -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Thanks to MCiN7 for organising and collaborating this. -
I was referring to the fact that TF (original) wasn't so similar to XIII as TF2 is in terms of the graphics. ie. It wasn't as cartoony. So no, that really isn't nugget worthy. Example: Team Fortress Classic Team Fortress 2
