  1. Forum gets Top Gear discussion thread done That saved some time ;) End of thread
  2. Just order a few sets of these for my 159 2x T10 501 194 W5W 5630 LED 6 SMD CANBUS ERROR FREE Car Side Wedge Light Bulb | eBay LEDs are so cheap... might consider a full conversion on the whole car if they work out well. I've always just figured with bending iPhones that it serves you right if you can't look after it. Put it in your back pocket and sit down then tough doody.
  3. Ah, did you find some money blowing around in the street recently? ;) Nice Beemer :)
  4. Damn, I'd be pretty upset if mine got that dirty. It has got a little bit wet though: Fitted a new battery to try and solve a startup issue. Still had the original Magnetti Marelli one thats not made anymore... shame really. But the Bosch is a much better unit: Turned out the issue was a dodgy steering lock ecu, which meant that I had to force it before the car would let me start it. So far I've had a new inlet manifold (with swirls blanked), erg removed and cam belt with water pump... most of it under the extended warranty and purchased. So glad I did that
  5. XR4 sounds far nice than ST- You just know if they did a road trip with on one of them on TopGear it would end up with a 'D' crudely glued on the end... and then someone with clamydia would write into The Guardian/Daily Mail complaining it was prejudiced against those with sexual addictions.
  6. I think its already too much that you're allowing us to discuss it! What happened to this dictatorship ;)
  7. this one didn't put me to sleep, so it can't have been that bad.
  8. I do keep meaning too, but there's a few things I need to get sorted with the paint first. Theres quite a few minor stone chips not the bonnet and the chump who owned it before me wasn't very spatially aware so the grille is cracked too. Plus he must have had very large feet because he seemed to stand on the skirt every time he got it, so thats a little bit scuffed too. The badges are a bit damaged so I'm going to replace the whole lot with some cool black ones from Italy. Frickin love it though. Such a nice car to be in. My wife said it looked a bit 'seedy' when I first got it. But even she likes it now too. She was pretty pissed when I paid £50 for an adapter so my iPod and iPhone would work with it though.
  9. Finally got round to taking a few pics of my Alfa:
  10. Thanks guys. Am over the moon with it... Didn't sleep at all last night I was so excited about picking it up. Still got 3 days to wait though :(
  11. Got one of these last week: Wife says its too big and doesn't like it much though edit: On the new TV unit
  12. Oh sorry, didn't notice you had the original HD :o
  13. Have you got a GoPro Frame? I don't use the stander case unless its wet anymore. The frame is much better for sound. GoPro The Frame for Hero 3 Cameras 2014
  14. Transporters hold value too well though... Will likely get one at some point. I do agree though, I'm happy I've made the right decision for now. Was in Les Arcs. Back out there again next June to do it all again :)
  15. Have been in France for 4 months over the summer and been back home in the GB for a week now. Yeah, the Edge is gone and forgotten. Away from the UAE at last... never going back I hope not even passing through :D Was tempted to get a Transporter but saw the 159 online couldn't get it out of my head. Won't be as good for carry all my gear but will be far more comfortable on long journeys. Will have to get a tow bar and bike rack though.
  16. The saloons might have the edge in performance, but I can't put all my crap in them. I could even sleep in this, at a stretch :)
  17. 2.4 JDTm Qtronic in Ti spec :p Is a 60% heart purchase. 40% brain. Didn't want to get a standard German estate car. Got a 2 year extended warranty if the worst happens. Most recent Alpha's have been quite reliable in comparison (apparently)
  18. Bought myself a new car today. Not the most practical I could've bought. Picking it up on tuesday so no good shots yet. They're refurbishing the wheels and repaying a crack in the rear bump... plus a good polish too. Can't wait to drive it properly
