  3. Why do they always put cheap looking plastic around the car when making these standard but a bit taller cars? Makes it looks like a Rover 25 Streetwise... Cal will argue that that is a good thing but it's really not. :(

  5. Well yea, I wanted something that could play back FLAC files and be noticeably better. I also wanted something that could drive my speakers at full whack to nearly blow peoples clothes off! :p But some of the best amps are really low output, like 15 watts. But they cost many many thousands.
  6. It's not all about how big your wattage is, it's how you use it! :lol: Other specs are far more useful than the headline power output which is pretty much useless but I'll not bore you with that. :p As long as you enjoy it and like the sound that's all that matters.

  8. What they should have done is just replace the sticky grass from F4 with dirty lap markers . But don't dirty the lap for the sake of it. Grrr I did buy that but it's fully tunable. My first choice was the Hennessey Venom which was incredible fun to try and drive. :nuts: But that was fully tunable as a stock car too. :( As are the P1, The Ferrari The Ferrari and other hyper cars.
  9. There are some walls that do and some that don't. I just keep hitting the black walls on the inside of turns 3 and 4 which annoys me because I still have another 1:30 to go before I can try again. And that's if I don't zoom off the track near the end which dirties the next lap even though it has no impact. That's the point where I just turn it off. >.< The person who chose this track... moron! Car is fun though.
  10. The people who did the dirty lap markers need a good slap. Don't think I've found a single track where they've not got it wrong. I managed a 2:08.292 with a clean lap and had much faster "dirty laps". You tap the inside wall of a corner that unsettles the car, slows you down and loses you a bit of time on what otherwise would be a really good lap. Dirty lap. You come out of a corner a tiny bit too fast and the back end slides and taps the wall which doesn't slow you down and gives you an advantage. No dirty lap marker. Doesn't make sense. Would be better if they fixed the bugs that impact gameplay rather than cater to the idiots who complain that the left door has a key barrel when it should have a blank or the diameter of an exhaust pipe is 1mm too small. Can see us having fun with this one. Wish I'd gone with the Nurburgring at night or in the rain now. :lol:

Dirty laps do not count, stay off the lawn kids. Laps do not have to be from a standing start (flying laps count). If you already have a faster lap recorded outside of the competition, this does not count, you must record another and take a picture for proof. If you win, don't forget to chose a car/track for the next week before Monday! Make sure to do your times in RIVALS (or free play), they will not be recorded in test drive.   14. Mine is very slow too and it takes about 5 seconds just to load up the friends panel on the homescreen after it has booted. No where near as fluid as the PS4. But the extra features are pretty good. Really like what they've done with the upload studio for video editing.
  15. Not really. It is cool and what not and great to see what they're able to do now and where they're wanting to go. But I like my cars to be, well, cars if you know what I mean.
  16. Stu is a bit of a wiz with Photoshop though so I imagine that helps. There must be a de-noise filter or something. :shrug:

  18. I think you can do that by turning off player name tags somewhere in the options. Not sure if that will remove them from already saved replays though.

And along with the new DLC, Turn 10 have fixed a few issues with the game as well in a 400MB patch available now. CARS Addressed an issue related to angular velocity under specific conditions. This subtle change will be most noticeable for drifters and tuners who prefer to use a wheel. MULTIPLAYER Private matches will no longer be subject to AFK restrictions that cause players to be booted due to inactivity, as in public multiplayer matches.   21. Nice singular photo. :p Yea, there's no take photo button as the feature is already in the PS4 with the share button. Makes it much easier to get the images from the console onto a computer via USB(still pants compressions) without further compression from uploading them to a server(but this is more pantser) When you stop moving the camera and playing with the settings, wait for the progress bar to fill up before taking the screenshot as it adds post FX to still images in photo mode.
