  1. This was what popped in to my head a few days ago when you mentioned the Challenger in the Chatbox, damnit that you had to post it in your OP >.< Maybe not the Hellcat version though. I've seen one of the new Chargers SRT's and I love how they look. Too bad both of them would cost an absolute fortune to run, especially in fuel. :p I think you might have won the thread though with the 911's you posted above.
  2. I thought about them too but not too worried for them, considering how huge the BBC is and how many shows they produce there will probably be work somewhere else. At least that's what they told Clarkson's victim who was worrying about precisely that in an article I read.
  3. Holy moo, even though I was expecting it I wasn't really expecting it. I wonder what will happen to James and Richard mainly. To be really honest I'm not sure I want the show to continue without Clarkson no matter how big of an oaf he can be. I'm sure they would all get hoovered up real fast though if they were to leave together. As someone said, Clarkson could only really win and the BBC could only really lose. I also wonder what will happen to the rest of the shows/segments that were never aired. I realized that the SUV segment which is one of the ones I was looking forward to most hasn't been shown yet. Does one dare to hope for some DVD/streaming release maybe?
  4. The LED headlights cost more than the S-Line pack does :cheeky: S-Line pack and bigger alloys may look good but I didn't choose them because all I ever hear about them doing is ruin the ride. I promise I'm not 70 years old :leaves: Knowing that I'd get one second hand, I'd look for the alcantara/leather seats but not bother too much about whatever else the previous owner specced out.
  5. Knowing you, I'm pretty sure you did. :p I didn't even bother to spec out the interior and all the options on mine, just wanted an illustration of the exterior and when it comes to interior I'm not that fussed. :nods: I like how your rim/colour combo looks but personally I find anything over 17" to be a bit too big for the car. I forgot to check out the black trim on mine though. :hmmm: The A7 I showed you a few months back looked about the same as this A3, however the monsoon grey paint option seems to be gone from the A7 now. :susp:
  6. I'm a sucker for the A3 sedan for some reason, I'd want mine to look like this :D Loving the grey and the LED's, on the inside I'd really like to have the black leather. If I've learned one thing from these configurators though it is that I am never getting a brand new car ever  I couldn't navigate my way through those options lists to save my life, never mind this "oh you added this, then you need this as well" crap. I'd settle on the exterior and then get so frustrated I left the dealer.
  7. I brought those up, not him  I agree that I would rather have the XE though, I'd like a smaller car as it'd just be easier to live with in general. :hmmm: Plus it looks like they started working from the rear on the XF and then someone just forgot to redraw the front, it looks exactly the same as the old one to me.
  8. Now those are the news I was waiting for :yay:
  9. Yes. Yes you did. :p And this. http://i.imgur.com/LvgGsP5.jpg :D Pure class.
  10. He didn't say it did. :p I personally really like the look of the XE so I don't mind that the XF has copied it at all but it's just a bit boring that almost all car manufacturers these days seem to have fired everyone who had any sense of creativity. I still honestly cannot tell the new Mercedes S- and C-classes apart because the C is such a carbon copy of the S.
  11. I got confused for a second as I actually thought it was the XE. With the mahoosive air intakes and that rear end it looks exactly what I'd imagine a future XE R to look like.
  12. :damnit: I got all excited for a second xD I guess that's also good news, just not the good news I was waiting for :p
  13. I thought he was being suspiciously nice. News please :carryon: :wait:
  14. Socket 2011 was released in 2011 and supported Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge CPUs which is kinda why you can't get it any more :cheeese:
  15. Liking the sound of this already, hopefully the closing time has been reduced as well, I swear the game makes my PC lag for minutes after I've closed it. Eager to try out the new patch now, though will be a few weeks before I will be able to.
  16. UK plates are very rare here but the few times I do see them they always seem to be attached to some form of Land Rover :p There is a RHD BMW on UK plates at uni though... For some reason there are tons of Dutch cars here, I'd say they are even more common than the Danish ones one would expect, I swear I think they're invading soon. :susp: Dan? Helmy?
  17. Something I saw on a different forum and seemed interesting. :cheeky: Post the most distant license plates you've seen, IE the cars that have traveled the furthest to be where you are. It doesn't have anything to do with the car itself :D As for myself it would probably be some cars from Spain, though I've seen 2 each from Monaco and Luxembourg and those would probably be rarer. Don't forget to include your own location if it doesn't say above your post :p
  18. Nothing. The amazing weather that's been all week of course had to end this morning when it was cloudy as hell. >.< Best opportunity for 24 years too... I'm slightly bitter about it.
  19. Didn't realize he was that anti-BBC. Good bye Top Gear I guess. The next best thing would probably be another network picking the trio up and ripping the format off but we'll see...
  20. Not what I meant but I guess it can be interpreted that way.
  21. Transmission - BBC Top Gear I love Stephen Fry as well, but I'm with Scott there, I don't think he'd be the right person for it. I agree with Tim, I don't think the format will work without Clarkson at all.
  22. Not a fan of Stephen Fry or just not imagining him and Top Gear working?
  23. Top Gears Richard Hammond and James May REFUSED to film without Jeremy Clarkson - Mirror Online So, the people hoping for the BBC to replace Clarkon with Alan Partridge are probably hoping in vein. Considering all of their contracts end in a month or so I think we're getting closer and closer to TG as we know it not coming back. :hmmm: *waits for news*
