    Probably because you put that car on a car it wasn't supposed to replace. Bugs like that will occur, and as far as I know you need ZModeler to fix it.

    In the 'My Documents' folder on your PC is a folder called Test Drive Unlimited. You should copy that whole folder to somewhere else on your PC - or ideally a USB stick. And always make regular backups of it in case your PC crashes or whatever. ;)

    Also, do you have loads of mods installed? If you do, try getting rid of some of them. About 3 months ago I started having serious lag attacks, when my FPS dropped to like 1-2 for about 15 seconds. With a reinstall though that problem was gone.

    Check the mod threads, with the new mod template they have to show where they got the model from. Tool and Reaper mostly convert them from Undercover/Juiced 2. I think Grin has got models from people he knows though.

    Since I got TDU back up and working, I have never gotten a connection error, so the servers aren't down.

    Uninstall and reinstall the game. Play with the original DVD only, the fact that it sends you to a blank page suggests that you're using a no-cd patch.
