Well IMO if they don't handle that well they've failed. Why have all that power and speed and no handling?

I don't need to read up on anything, i've been in more Evos and GTRs than you can count and enough 360s/430s and Murcielagos and such to match. I'm not the average Need For Speed, F&F believer, they had no effect on me whatsoever, but i've been going to car shows from a very early age and people i know have had so many quick cars in their time, i just hate it when people say that F&F and NFS has shifted my way of thinking. Infact, i think it's shifted older generations way of thinking into them thinking there are no asian supercars because they're all heavily tuned but still won't touch a Ferrari or Lambo. But this is getting too off-topic.

Bloody hell, i thought about making this thread but i thought it wasn't worth it. I think a supercar is a car built intentionally with speed and handling in mind and amazes you when you drive it.

Ok, diablo, what do you call a supercar then? Someones definition was: "Limited amount made, expensive, quick and good looking." Ok, maybe a normal GTR isn't ALL of those, but the Z-Tune is! 20 were made, they were $160,000 each, they had 550hp and did 206mph and they look brilliant! Although, the looks are debateable (sp?). I really should leave this but you are the ONLY person i have ever met who is adamant that it isn't a supercar. I'm not asking for a full-stop definition, just what YOU feel is a supercar. EDIT: Just out of interest, have you been in a GTR? Or a Z-Tune? Or even an R-Tune? EDITEDIT: Yeah, the thing is though, everyone else i know is either a Eurosnob or a JDM lover, and i only know a few in-betweeners and they've said the Z-Tune is worthy of being a supercar. Except one, but he's only been in an R32 GTS 4-door and from that he now hates GTRs :S. Btw, i've been in a 520hp Evo VI RS and that was scary :).

Ok, i HATE the Mini, but i love the Fiat :D. Looks brilliant and is comfortable too :). And Randy, nige means like by performance, and considering the Scooby hatch and Lancer Sportback are both 4WD and a considerable amount over 180hp. And kal, why did you ever get rid of it? I love Mk.2 Golfs, they're my second dream track car :D. My cousin used to have one, i loved it :D.

Yeah, it is scale speed because if it was actually doing 983mph it would cover the track less than a second :p.

I love the look or the European version but nowhere near as much as the Japanese version. And i really don't like the new Civic Si :p. Plus i've been in a 320hp European Civic Type-R and a 290hp Japanese Civic Type-R and the European one seemed pretty tame, the Japanese one was actually kind of scary :D. Yeah, i hated it at first, then it grew on me, now i hate it again. Apart from the 2.5 WRX, i like that, i just hate the STi. Ah well, at least they all don't sound like they have holes in their exhausts now :p.

Ok, it seems people are STILL arguing about what a goddamn supercar is so i'll say this again and hopefully SOMEONE will take note of what i say this time: The only reason i put the Z-Tune down as a supercar is because it IS a supercar. When you go on sites with reviews and specs and watch shows like Top Gear and Best Motoring etc. they call LP640s hypercars. They call 430 Scuderias supercars. If you look on pretty much ANY site that has a review of the Z-Tune or hear the presenters mention a Z-Tune on Top Gear or Best Motoring or other shows, THEY CALL IT A SUPERCAR. This is because IT IS CLASSED AS A SUPERCAR. Therefore IT IS A SUPERCAR. On the other hand, a stock R34 GTR is not. It doesn't matter if a car is tuned. A C6 is a sports car. But is a C6R not a supercar? Does it matter if it's tuned? You don't look at a 1600hp Supra and say: "Wow, that's a quick sports car" do you?

When i was a kid i always wanted a brother, i hated being an only child, but my mate has a younger brother and he's such a little *******. Could be just him, i dunno, but after seeing him i didn't want one anymore :D. My parents used to argue loads, they don't argue too much anymore though. I don't have any brothers or sisters though, only a half-sister who i've never met. It's embarassing when you're just playing PS3 in the front-room and they start arguing like right next to you though.

That's just the US version of the 350GTs and that, they still have GTRs, they just need them imported. And the only Skyline for $150,000+ is the R34 GTR Z-Tune, none other.

Yeah, you're right, the supercar term is a hard one, but i was going by cars that are actually CLASSED as supercars, and the Z-Tune is. And it's kind of like the Nismo tuned Z33s with the FQ-series Evos, they are tuned but yes, you can just go get one from the Mitsubishi dealership.

I had MGS1 on PS1, one of the first games i ever got, but we got rid of it and my dad and i couldn't figure out how to fight the guards with no gun :D:D. But then i got Snake Eater like 2 or 3 years ago for PS2 and loved it. I really should pick up MGS4 soon, but i'm going to America in the summer holidays, so i have to save up for it, which means: no more games until after then. I'm thinking about trading in GTAIV though to get it, not sure though.
