iGP Manager TurboDuck League - Join now for FREE

I had to use my (expensive) research to try and catch up to your car though. Let's see if spending $20m is enough to get me a good position next week. -

How's the effort to invite more people to join going? Have you told them they'll still probably end up beating Apu even though they've missed the first 4 races? -
Elgato Game Capture HD PVR Gaming Recorder for Xbox PS3 Mac or PC 1080i | eBay Would be able to record PS3 and XBox... and I could loop it through my PC to record games without using FRAPS... hence no/less FPS drop. If I can get the sound to output via the graphics card (HDMI) and the motherboard simultaneously. [+] Purchased

Yes I knew it was Episodes and Matt (I do watch TopGear y'know), but in a trailer for it there were references to Friends, so it can't be completely unrelated. Make a new thread for TDU3 names... this thread has become a secondary chatbox. Call it CLUTCH Car Lovers Unlimited Traction Control Helicopter

I'll send you a burnt copy D :) Yep fun times in MW, until you drove everywhere in the map within one chase. That atmosphere/intensity with a TDU-sized intricate map with a FF steering wheel and cockpit view and H shifter would drive it up way higher than the Criterion version.

What will they talk about though? We've already done that. If we keep talking we might get a few more speshuls. Need more speshul-only stuff. I'd say move it out when the next gen Xbox and/or PS4 is launched (E3).

Didn't Joey fail and then recently started something new that looked decent... then again I haven't heard much since so maybe it failed as well. I think of 'How I met Your Mother' as a modern-day version of 'Friends' anyway

One thing that's never been done is a massive police chase game (you can play both sides) with proper steering wheel, H shifter, & TrackIR support and proper handling/physics. No boring button-pushing, but intense behind the wheel action where you get a sweat going as you try to evade (or capture), where the opponents aren't completely kamikaze. The only games that come close (police chases and I'd consider using a steering wheel in them) are TDU and NFS Carbon. There was actually a cool PSX game called Worlds Scariest Police Chases which was fun as well. Then you've got the Crash Time series which is similar but not quite as dramatic.

did it ever end? by the time they eventually get to airing the last ones they just air the first ones again. Just like the Simpsons. They're advertising shots of the new episodes but when I go to watch the recordings they're all old. DRIVE is too similar to DRIVER. @Diablo all threads about TDU2 go offtopic, that's just our thing :) What if we come up with some random car word and turn that into a franchise name (like 'Shift'). Exhaust Manifold Intake Induction Wheelspin ...or not, they're awful

We did this on the old Atari EU forums when we thought they wouldn't be lazy and call it Test Drive Unlimited 2. Can't remember any of them though, and the forums are dead.

Just have someone else make "TDU3" and don't call it Test Drive. Call it "Buy a Car" or something :)

So why didn't you? :cheeky:

I'm not even going to try converting that into list form :fp:

The cars are confirmed but not built yet, they might only list stuff when they get a screenshot. If you want the proper list check the pCARS thread in our forums: What's New in Project CARS | turboduck @CDMC:

forza horizon Forza Horizon: An Open World Forza!!
Ryzza5 replied to hassan1995's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Arcade should just be an easier, more forgiving version of simulation. If you want to have crazy Ridge Racer handling then don't bother buying licenses for real cars. TDU2's handling simply isn't realistic. You give certain inputs expecting a certain outcome (and in any other game would deliver and you could control the car), whereas cars in TDU2 behave unpredictably, and are then uncontrollable at speed, and not enjoyable). They pivot around the center instead of taking into account that the wheels are on the ends of the car). For example, in TDU1 hardcore mode, grab any high power car. Drop the clutch and give it a bootful of acceleration. The driven wheel spin and inertia starts to make the back step out a bit. You respond to this by reducing power and steering where you want to go and you have a nice burnout. Try that in TDU2 and either nothing happens (you just pull away), or you're facing the wrong direction before you even hit redline with no ability to feather the throttle to control the car. The whole point of TDU is to do what we generally can't in real life - drive your dream cars on fantastic roads. Sure you can have fun with a keyboard or gamepad, but when you play with a good steering wheel, H shifter, TrackIR, and Buttkicker it will feel so much better and more immersive, you'll be looking for the indicator stalk. -
There's already a few modern production cars, to mind I can recall the Ford Focus, BMW M3 & 1M, Evo X, etc.

Yes but we've all but stopped playing FH now... after how many years? -
GTR2 and GTL are some of the biggest racing games as far as modding goes, and Shift had a few mods as well, so who knows. Definitely looking forward to Assetto Corsa as well though.

But then you have to compare FH to TDU1
