  1. Destra (amongst other things) mediates between Atari, the developers, and us (the community/customers). Atari will never condone modding, but realise it happens - so he is making clear what things are absolute no-no's If you want the technical answer - read the license you agreed to when you installed the game ;)
  2. I should be upset at you for computer cruelty - but since I don't like Apple either: "meh" :cheeky:
  3. Wait so you only broke the USB receiver but the laptop is ok? I would've called that lucky if anything (although check the HDD for weird noises and take a backup). If it's just a bluetooth adapter, you can get generic ones that'll do the trick pretty cheaply from a computer shop.
  4. You must be really new if you haven't found them yet  :welcome:
  5. I have a reputation as Mysterious Mod of Mystery to uphold thankyouverymuch. :p
  6. So... :oook: Anyone could write that at any time ;) There is a timer on the right, however.
  7. That's less than once per page of posts. Frankly, I'm dissapointed in you t. - you should've posted heaps more
  8. Sometimes laptops create an audio hum depending on how nice or cheap the audio hardware is. The quality of the cables and connections can also cause this. Since you belive the monitor is causing interference, try to get more expensive audio cables with gold connectors from your nearest electronics store (or online). From reading your description I'm pretty sure no audio cables are plugged into the monitor (I have the BenQ E2420HD - great monitors). HOw close are the cables to the monitor? What happens if you route them so that none go near it? Data transfer can sometimes interfere as well. Unplug USB devices and other peripherals to see if there's any effect. Try getting newer sound card drivers. Maybe try powering the speakers from another power point separate to where your PS3 and PC are. A higher quality power board with surger protection might help. Sorry for the ambiguity, but that gives you a few places to start trying in any case.
  9. No pics from the cruise? We always took pics from TDU1 cruises and shared them in the cruise thread afterwards. :(
  10. Remember the old NFS games where you couldn't select Ferrari's in any Hot Pursuit mode (they were greyed out). Even the latest NFS HP 2010 game didn't have Ferrari's. I guess we should all grab Ferrari's in TDU2 and smash into things and use them in police chases so Atari/Eden get their money's worth :p
  11. I thought they had $10 one way ticket deals
  12. Shame on you - Bathurst is legendary. :cheeky:
  13. Insurance is much better here - better hurry up and invent that teleporter - or just book a flight ;)
  14. Or just press K for 'Hide controls'
  15. If you're doing this on just about any morning (GMT/BST) on PC send me a PM and I'll probably be able to help. I'd love to use the police car in free-roam and then just randomly start chasing people with the sirens on, to make them wonder if they'd actually caused that much damage or not. Aviators are the sunglasses that were made famous decades ago by airplane pilots (aviators) - i.e. think Top Gun.
  16. Beats having a Dodge Viper police car ;)
  17. Your familiy would complain about Melbourne weather too though. Don't forget that Perth is in another timezone compared to me (3 hours behind). ;)
  18. One of my pictures no less ;) If you're sure you've got the megapack installed and your game is legit, then just uninstall and reinstall it, otherwise I can't be of much more help.
  19. I'm a bit surprised they've already got that far to be honest ;)
  20. Do you have the Megapack installed? Which cars did you purchase from there (I know what cars are available there - just checking).
  21. Hehe - now you can actually say "I'd rather walk than drive this piece of rubbish"
  22. There are a bunch of fake O'ahu Cars shops that you can't go inside. Are you sure you've got the right one? Post some pictures.
  23. Microsoft need to prove to me that they can release updates/improvements on a consistent, uniform basis before I'm tempted again. NoDo was supposed to be out in January, but was only just released a week or two ago (which company does that remind you of) :p Apple are too much of a control freak for me to ever be interested in using their products.
  24. They're doing it more for battery efficiency than performance mainly, although the phones will no doubt be quick. The HTC Thunderbolt looks good, is super quick, is "4G" (so they say) but has bad battery life.
