  1. This has just jumped to my top ten list of favorite Ferraris. -Leadfoot
  2. You have stumbled upon what has long been my favorite video car video on YouTube. My day is now looking up. :D Also about that vid, I love how he's just cruising in second at 2:08 when he's waiting for the MINI to move over. He's already "over the speed limit," and he's just, you know, in second gear. :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  3. Best part of this is the "returning to Earth" stage. :D ...And what car does it come from? And, while we're at it, can you name some of that car's accomplishments? -Leadfoot
  4. What Redl1ne and Sponge said is correct. Another possible reason is (and this is no fault of your own) TDU2's difference in game purpose than TDU1; players of the new game are required to follow a much stricter path of events, and combined with the fact that almost everything in the career is integrated into online mode, it can seem like everyone is rushing off and doesn't want to socialize. If you feel like it happens a lot, I'd look for organized cruises, races, and games. There are usually a few going on in various time zones, especially one weekends. Maybe he was talking about a DLC pack where you can play as McCarthy. :p -Leadfoot
  5. *Nudges Scoob with elbow.* :cheeky: -Leadfoot
  6. That's what I told him! :cheeky: Eh, it helps you appreciate lesser cars, like Merc AMGs and Subaru STIs. And at least when you do see an exotic car, it'll be that much more exciting. :) -Leadfoot
  7. You totally had this planned, didn't you? -Leadfoot
  8. Try the Magic Map anyway, and also try deleting your Radial.CDB (there's a function for that in the Mod Tools, I believe). Sometimes car mods mess that up. Hope it works. :) -Leadfoot
  9. Thanks, Dan. :) I'm glad someone else sees it that way, too. Strange times at the House of RUF today. The garage doors were open, and I could see the rear quarter panel of the RGT Cabrio. But parked out front was a brand new Audi A6 Avant S-Line (with a roof rack :D ) and, weirdly, a mid-90s Honda CRX. I know that car pretty well, because it used to belong to a friend of mine, and it's got the full speed-loving ricer kit. A stage 3 clutch, racing seats, a cat-back exhaust with a huge fart can, a carbon fiber hood with peeling lacquer, a "HONDA" decal obscuring most of the windshield, white wheels and an Eibach Pro Kit (read: lowered, but barely). Oh, and it's bright red. And it was sharing the same driveway with a RUF! I happen to know that the owners aren't the same person, but that made me do a double take. Also: ~1971 Charger with the full STP NASCAR livery, an Audi A7, and a BMW 1000RR. -Leadfoot
  10. This one's spectacular. Glad to see you're enjoying the car (of course you are :D ). -Leadfoot
  11. BMW owners, not BMW drivers. A BMW owner bought the car new, has owned new BMWs before, and is only cares about the badge. A BMW driver calls it a Bimmer (Bim-mer, not Bee-mer), drives a model from the '80s or early '00s, has a manual, and can list all the engine codes from heart. BMW drivers are, 90% of the time, nice people who are nice to any kind of car guy, whether they drive a Geo Metro or an Aston DBS. There's a difference. ;) -Leadfoot
  12. @SB: Was that a photo shoot or did you just come across that? Very nice. @Z06: Shiny! :D -Leadfoot
  13. Very nice shots. Are you using DX11? Also, due to Imageshack's new policy on users with accounts versus users without accounts, you need to copy to the link to the image, go to that link, and then right-click on the picture and click "Copy Image URL." Otherwise it'll just create a text link like it did in your post. :) -Leadfoot
  14. Well done, as always. How much time do you spend editing each one? :) -Leadfoot
  15. Yay! Ryzza saw something recently! :) And some nice stuff, too - Porsche Speedster (  ), Aventador (), Joss JP1 (which I'll bet the London boys haven't even seen :D ), this thing which I don't know what it is, and the awesome BMW soon-to-be-called-i8 Vision Dynamic concept. :) Must've been fun! You're pics aren't showing up in the post, though. :( And yes, I did quote it and copy/paste the URLs of each one individually. :) -Leadfoot
  16. :odance: Saw a Passat W8 Wagon today. Quad exhaust, giant wheels, and everything. So rare, so awesome. Loved it. :) Lucky. :D How'd it sound - throaty, or a wail? -Leadfoot
  17. Not only is it fine, but some people may have installed the tuning packages on the cars, or even painted them using the Magic Map custom-paint-any-car-mod. :) Used is the way to go, especially in TDU. -Leadfoot
  18. Love it. Nice choice of color with the body, trim, and wheels. :) -Leadfoot
  19. Nice. :) Is that a race-modified R8, or a genuine R8 LMS (as a standard car)? -Leadfoot
  20. Forgot one of the coolest things I saw today. A pristine, silver BMW R60. :odance: Ooh, that is better. :) Are you imitating FerrarivsMustang or what? :p -Leadfoot
  21. The pictures and the car are so... sharp. Love it! -Leadfoot
  22. July 4th list: Citroen DS - Rare in the US, and this time it was in my own town. Chevrolet Corvette C4 - 2x, pretty common. Corvette C6 - 1x, had a license plate that I didn't catch, but I think was a reference to the Corvette Racing ALMS team. Cadillac CTS-V - The new one, a sedan, and black with black wheels. Fun fact - CTS-V brake calipers are yellow and feature the "V" logo. Various 911s Alfa Spider (Classic) Fiat 500 - First one! And in my town. And probably some other stuff that I forgot. :) -Leadfoot
  23. Thoughts? -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -Leadfoot
  24. ^t.: Yeah, it's tasteless, but somehow... :leaves: -Leadfoot
