Agreed. :( Instead of making it a high-budget imitation like everything else that has come out of EA since MW2, they give us a large-map test bed with some maps and the potential for variation and release some dev tools. Trust us, the community, to make it awesome. -Leadfoot

Great timing, this thread. :rolleyes: My day was horrible; does anyone here have a "Wellness" class? For those who don't, it's sort like Health and Gym combined for budget reasons or something, and is usually taught by the guy was supposed to be the gym teacher but isn't and coaches for a sports team. My school makes it mandatory for one year, and its pretty bad. Rather than going into details, let's just say that my Wellness teacher and I have different points of view on career decisions. :rolleyes: That's rough. :( These things take time, though - have patience. :) -Leadfoot

Stupid modifications. One of my friends wants to get a BMW 525 with smoked lights - he also says an 8-series isn't cool. -Leadfoot

Granted, it takes a little, erm, modification to get it to, um, run, but once you learn how the .ini files work (and what car makers don't suck), it can be entertaining in short, 15-minute bursts. Also, its changed a lot since I started playing a year ago. -Leadfoot

This is a love/hate refresh, but we all know that Lotus could use a poster car, and to be a part of pop culture. Maybe us car guys hate it (Maserati GranCabrio anyone?), but it will do our company good. But even if that's a gamble, there's also the gamble of the Esprit. It's a dangerous playing field out there, what with the MP4-12C, 458, LP560-4, GT2, GT3 RS, 911 Turbo, DB9, DBS, new Viper, ZR1, GT-R, and whoever else shows up in the next year. From my point of view, this is the car of most risk. Sure, the die-hard fans will likely abandon the Elise (as will the ghost of C. Chapman), but we should all hope for Lotus that a younger audience adopts this new style and brings them into the center of the ring. -Leadfoot

Make no mistake, TDU2 looks stunningly [NDA] from the [NDA]'s I saw on [NDA] (and the later trailers, too). It's a beautiful game, no doubt about it. But I don't care how great it looks if the physics are terrible. I hope your Neo-eyes are seeing physics changes in that 360 code, Lee, because I'll be playing Racer while you try to find Mario Karters to play your game. -Leadfoot
