  1. Yes, which makes it a load of old rubbish. Physics doesn't work like that.
  2. Congrats to Audi and Aston!
  3. Hour One As expected, Peugeots are setting the early pace and holding positions 1-3. They set some 3:22 laps early in the race which is seriously fast race pace, and now that everyone has traffic the pace has settled at 3:26. Audis are holding formation on positions 4-6 about half a minute behind the Peugeots and matching the Peugeot pace at the moment. In the petrol battle Pescarolo has the edge over the Dome and the Charouz Aston. The Porsche Spyders are leading the way in LMP2 while Corvettes hold the lead over the Astons in GT1 and Ferraris in GT2. Hour Two Some big dramas going on. Stefan Mücke crashed the Charouz Aston Martin a few minutes ago, and while Stefan managed to get the car out of gravel trap and back to pits but there is extensive damage. Peugeots still lead LMP1 with Lamy running away at the top and Klien and Villeneuve holding positions behind. McNish in the lead Audi has closed the gap down a bit but the other Audis are holding position well back. The lead petrol car is still the Pescarolo over the Dome, and with the problem to the Lola-Aston the Oreca Malmut cars hold the following two places. The Porsche Spyders still lead LMP2 with Team Essex car leading the Van Merkstejn car. They are on positions 12 and 14 overall. In GT1 Corvette still leads but the lead Aston has wrestled second place from the other factory Corvette. In GT2 the Risi Ferrari leads Team Felbemayr Porsche and Farnbacher Ferrari. Hour Three Audi still leads as McNish handed the #2 car to Dindo Capello. It's still close between the Audi and the two untroubled Peugeots, while #3 and #1 Audis are holding positions a few minutes back. The #8 Peugeot lost 27 minutes in the pits and is now down 27th. In petrol league Dome has taken the lead and is followed by Oreca Malmut and the two Pescarolos. In LMP2 there are no changes with Porsches leading. Meanwhile, in GT1 Astons have taken the lead and have the two factory Corvettes chasing in close approximity. In GT2 the Risi Ferrari still leads. Hour Four No big dramas on fourth hour. The #2 Audi still leads with Capelli at the wheel with Minassian and Zonta slowly closing the gap and the other Audis holding position on fourth and fifth. Team Oreca Malmut still holds the lead of petrols from Dome and the lead Pescarolo. Porsches hold lead on LMP2 while the Aston still leads GT1 with both Corvettes less than 15 seconds behind. The Risi Ferrari still leads GT2. Hour Five A lead change! Nicolas Minassian in the #7 Peugeot took the lead from the #2 Audi just after the four hour mark. The gap is now 20 seconds, and further 50 seconds or so to #9 Peugeot. #3 and #1 Audis still hold their positions. Oreca Malmut still leads petrol league from Pescarolo and the Dome. No changes in LMP2, Porsches still lead with Essex car in 10th overall and Merkstejn entry on 13th, and Speedy Racing Lola holds third in class. In GT1 Aston still leads from the Vettes, and in GT2 Risi Competizione still leads although the Team Falbermayr Porsche held the lead for quite a while before pitting. Hour Six Another lead change as Franck Montagny in the #9 Peugeot just took the lead of the race from Jacques Villeneuve. Montagny has been setting blinding pace over the last hour, winning over a minute over Villeneuve. #2 Audi is a minute behind the two Peugeots partially due to a driver change, they are able to constantly do sligltly longer stints between pit stops and their drivers are also doing quad stints. Everything still to play for. The other Audis are a lap down but battling between themselves for fourth place. No changes in petrol league, still Oreca Malmut from Pescarolo and Dome. No changes in LMP2 either, Porsches of Essex and van Merkstejn still lead with a minute between them and the Speedy Racing Lola two laps behind. GT1 is still tight as ever, the Aston leading with the Corvettes half a minute behind and within few seconds of each other. Risi Ferrari still leads GT2 by 45 seconds over the Falbemayr Porsche. Hour Seven No big dramas now. The #9 and #7 Peugeots, now with Klien and Gene at the wheel are running in close formation at the lead. Kristensen in #2 is about a minute behind, and #3 and #1 are still disputing for 4th place. The Oreca Malmut is holding 6th place overall and best placed petrol car, while #8 is now up on seventh which is remarkable considering the six lap disadvantage they gave to others. Alex Wurz made the quote of the race so far, 'We'll drive it like we stole it'. In LMP2 von Merkstejn car took the lead as the Team Essex Porsche suffered a puncture, luckily not too far from the pit entry. In GT1 the lead has also changed, with the Corvette taking the lead from the leading Aston, and also the #007 taking the third place from the second factory Vette. In GT2 no big changes. STOP PRESS!! At the time of writing this Christian Klien spins the leading Peugeot into the gravel trap! It'll take a while to get that one out. e: It's back on track, lost about a lap there. Hour Eight After Klien's off Marc Gene is now leading the race in the #7 Peugeot. #2 Audi is holding 2nd place almost two minutes behind while the #9 car is now on third place with Zonta now in the wheel. The diesels are now again holding the top six places and Oreca Malmut still leads the petrol club from Dome and lead Pescarolo. Von Merkstejn still leads LMP2 with Team Essex car two and a half minutes behind and Speedy Racing Lola two laps back. In GT1 it's #63 Corvette leading from the two Astons with #009 ahead of #007. #64 still holds fourth. In GT2 Risi keeps the lead from Team Felbelmayr Porsche but the AF Corse Ferrari that was holding third place spun out about 20 minutes ago and is now way back. Third place is now held by Virgo Motorsport Ferrari. Credit: Hazardous from Finalgear. EDIT Hour Nine No major dramas in the top, #7 Peugeot still leads #2 Audi. The major drama of LMP1 was a disastrous engine problem for the Dome, which also forced #8 Peugeot to pits for windscreen cleanup. The Dome is back in the garage and whether it can continue remains to be seen. Shame, it was a great debut run so far for the gorgeous car. No dramas in LMP2, Van Merkstejn still leads from Essex and Speedy Racing. Also no changes in GT1, #63 Corvette holds the lead from #009 and #007 Astons. In GT2 there was drama, though, as the 2nd placed Team Felbermayr Porsche hit trouble and was forced to pits where it still is. That was the last Porsche in contention for the win, and now Ferraris hold places 1-5 with Risi Competizione entry leading the Virgo Motorsports, BMS Scuderia Italia, Farnbacher and JMB Racing entries.
  4. Right. I tuned into the race a couple of hours ago. Completely forgot! :p http://www.lemans.org/24heuresdumans/pages/chronos_fr.html = race info http://www.radiolemans.com = English audio http://24ur.com/sport/ostalo/prenos-24-ur-le-mans.html = video feed, just wait for it to load up, and its the video entitled 'Video V Zivo'. What i'm going to do now, is in a minute post up an hour update for every hour from another site (credit goes to a guy called Hazardous). Just for those people who missed it. Like me.
  5. I think I might be in love with HDRs... This was another one to mess around with settings. I really like how it turned out.
  6. The ME-412 is terrible. IMO, the S& is a great car, it just does need some tweaking to get it fully round the bend at top speed. Whereas the ME-412 doesn't even go in a straight line, because if you move the tiniest amount, it will instantly spin off. Its an impossible car.
  7. I wish I had a brother. I have a sister but she was never really cool enough. And she has been out of the country for nearly 6 months (gap year travels) now, so live has been pretty quiet round the house :p
  8. I've been playing around with HDR a bit more, and its all coming out pretty good. I'll post one of my favourites:
  9. The best looking car. Ever. Amazing.
  10. ^ When you have the blue droplet, grey droplets and stars, it goes in a sequence. You hit the blue drop, which then moves to a grey one (turns blue), which you hit, then finally the stars will go white, and you hit them. Its sort of like a combo.
  11. Only 98% :( -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --
  12. Leom FR. The Octavia would make you look like a family man, and the Golf is too common. And common cars are uncool.
  13. ^ I think its a 928. But its definately not a 959.
  14. ^ Thats why I wrote it like that :p.
  15. There were 4 later on. A whole families worth! :oook:
  16. Nah. Aston and Audi all the way! Those aren't the free ones are they? Because I don't think we have the Sky sport package. If so, I'll have to watch the online feed, which is still fine.
  17. Maybe a bit of advanced warning of this one. THE 24hr race, is next weekend. English coverage, as always, is on www.radiolemans.com They should have the link to the 24hr video feed (assuming there is one, should be). I'll certainly be watching most of it. I suggest you do too! :excited:
  18. Love the black F430 one! Great pictures.
  19. Manbag? Pah! I have a mansack. *awkward silence*
  20. Its so mean. But I think its funny.
  21. ^ Yeah lol. Well they've already had the LM002 go round (previous series, can't remember which one), and that is pretty big.
  22. 13. No planes take off or land. ^ Considering his mistake, I continued from 13.
  23. ^ Lucky bugger. How did you manage getting rides in all of them?
  24. Great pictures! Can't wait for the full set.
  25. ^ Same. The Bentley Of Kent garage is in my town :p.
