I think (read in forums, I mean ;) ) that after this action Kimi-Alonso Monza 2005, FIA disapproved overtaking in the next corner, after cut a chicane. With 33 laps remain, Kimi overtaked Alonso in main straight, but can't avoid first chicane. F1 stewards "system" has changed this year, no more "Scott Andrews".

Remember Alonso-Klien affair in Japan 2005. Spanish cut in Casio chicane, Klien overtaked him in main straight(to recover position), Alonso into his slipstream and overtake in T1. After some "talks" between Renault-FIA stewards for next laps, Alonso was said by radio to wait in main straight to Klien for avoiding a penalty.

France - Magny-Course. Maybe Renault-Alonso looking for pole, as they did in Barcelona, playing with fuel in Q3?

FIA sanctioned Lewis and Rosberg with a 10 positions penalty for next clasification (France). I don't understand it, frantically. McLaren pitstop wasn't very quick, Lewis entered in box in P1, and departured P3... And for Alonso... he said in spanish media that was a mistake, taking risks for overtaking Heidfield (as in Monaco last race), he ran wide over the dirty side of the track and lost control. After that, gearbox didn't work. And he didn't like entering in box while SafetyCar was in track, he said he had fuel for 6 or 7 more laps.

Bad moment for a transmission fail in Renault. It's 4th race and I believe Kimi is almost touching WDC. Very good start for Hamilton with pressure for errors in other starts this year.

Remember Silverstone 2007, Hamilton pole -> 3rd in race. I think Alonso will finish in no-podium places. Promotional qualify, i'm afraid. Anyway, incredible evolution in Renault (first time Piquet in Q3 also).
