  1. Updated my original post on the first page with new games in bold type. God damn Steam Sales have almost double my list in size :p
  2. Neither had I until I started watching Robbaz on YouTube playing it, these YouTube gameplay/commentators are making me spend my money :p It's just a little game that I can chill out while playing now and again.
  3. Kerbal Space Program while it's 40% off on Steam. Probably could have saved some more money by waiting for a proper Steam Sale, but I'm keen to play it :p
  4. It gave me the option of keeping my username or changing it to my real life name and luckily I was concentrating on what I was doing and opted to keep my username. For some reason where you can change YouTube accounts it lists my email address as another account, but that's the only thing that has bothered me.
  5. Finally got to go for a spin in my dad's Fabia vRS after he put Powerflex suspension bushes on it... ...the car still handles like a friggin' boat compared to the 306 though. Accelerating on half-throttle seemed substantial enough for every day driving to me, keeping your foot to the floor gets you up to and beyond 60/70MPH from 30MPH in no time though which is very fun. Had a quick bit of fun with some guy in a Mercedes who thought he could keep up, but he just kept falling further and further back. If I was in the 306 it would have been the opposite. Handling wise the 306 says to me "Yes, push on even more, it's no problem", when the Fabia says to me "Hmmm, not sure if want, take me back to a straight bit of road" :p

  7. I was potentially one day away from finally buying an E46 330D, phoned the dealer to find out a bit more about it and when I could look at it (appointment only apparently), guy said on the phone someone would be coming to look at the car at 4PM at which point I rolled my eyes and thought "Yeah right, whatever.." to myself. Asked him to contact me to let me know the situation after 4PM. Sold. It was only 5 miles away, a good price and even had a sunroof which I haven't seen too many with. Definitely my next major purchase though, just not that one.
  8. I've just found £120 sitting in an old wallet that was in amongst my important documents folder-thingy, strangely enough at the time I was looking at letters from the bank when I discovered it :p
  9. Oh, go on then.. Can still head-bang like a Metal-head, but without the harsh vocals of Metal.
  10. It's been at least a week since I played this and in fact GTA V at all. I must be ill. Part of me wants to create a new character though as my current one looks stupid to say the least and I had no input into how it looks for some reason.
  11. I've got the same issue with not wanting to part with my 306, because I hate the thought of it going to some little so-and-so who will no doubt rag it to death in no time, but unfortunately that is the type the buyer the car attracts now. If I had the space to keep it, I'd never sell it when I bought a new car. The rattles annoy me endlessly and the odd blemish on the outside annoys me as well, but fundamentally it's a solid car that has never let me down. If it wasn't for me being picky and wanting to replace parts it probably wouldn't have needed much money spending on it compared to all the other cars in the family. In fact if I could fit a BMW 3 litre diesel in the engine bay I'd probably do that :p
  12. Apparently the lyrics to this are "Old Norse" and thus are difficult to translate. I like it anyway, there's something about Metal artists that sing in a different language that appeals to me. Oh, and the music is so lovely.. and dark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNyIWBCFq5Y
  13. Had to bodge it in my unique way as there were some annoying water marks and I'm pretty sure there's still one left, but I'm too tired to see it now. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/kwtdu_zps443da103.jpg Makes a change from the images of the universe I usually go for :leaves:
  14. Thrash Metal from Norway.. A new album for the car
  15. I don't aim to smoke them out, unfortunately it's just a by-product. The only time I want to see smoke out the back is when I want to give the car a good clearing out, but I try and do that when no-one else is about :P
  16. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. BT Y U NO GEIF ME FIBREZ. Still on 5MB down at best with BT here :(
  17. My dad is insuring me as a named driver on his Fabia vRS so I can drive that to work/where-ever once or twice a week from now on. That means I can save up to 100 miles a week on the 306 and get to drive something with over twice the power occasionally which sounds very pleasing :p I don't think I'll buy his Fabia in the future like I've always planned though as he's let it slide a bit recently, needs new suspension bushes all round, lacquer is peeling off the spoiler, the clutch has always been a bit slippy occasionally because of the remap, but it's alright other than that. He doesn't seem to understand why I don't want to buy a car with these problems, but he has been smitten with the thing ever since my uncle sold it to him all the way back in 2004, so I think I'll let my dad keep it and I'll continue my pursuit of a BMW.
  18. Went online for the second time yesterday and actually had to do the tutorial/intro I've read everyone talking about. When I first went online I created a character and was then just dumped on the side of a road in Los Santos and left to my own devices, so it must've been pretty buggy at that point. Problem is now, I didn't get a chance to design the latest character which is annoying as I'd like one that sort of looks like me, so I don't know what happened there :p
  19. I managed to get online the day after launch which isn't as bad as predicted. Annihilated my first race. Some guy thought nudging the back of my car would phase me, but all it did was add 10MPH to my speed and took 10MPH off his. One third of the way through the race I was really pulling away from the other players and didn't see them after that which was a great start I thought :p I read about people complaining the graphics looked rubbish online, someone hinted at it looking like San Andreas (lol), but I didn't see any noticeable difference (?)
  20. Got the car serviced and reset the service indicator. 11,950 miles to go instead of -250 now :p I tell a lie. I still need to get a new air filter for it as Euro Car Parts sent me a stupid cone filter which wouldn't fit in a million years, so I'll return that and get a proper one. Good news is the new oil stayed in the sump rather than leaking out like last time so this years bodge of washers and other things should see it through another year. It may, however, be the last time it gets serviced by me as the threads where the sump plug goes are almost gone which means a new sump among other things, so the car might not even be with me this time next year as I'll seriously be looking to get rid despite the car serving me impeccably for the last 40,000 miles.

    The 306 Wagon

Only just seen this dedicated thread for your new 306 :p Did you use HDI-Tuning for your remap? What do you think of the differences? Mine just boggles my mind, it's completely standard (as far as I can tell), some times it feels dog slow and other times it really seems to get it's arse going with little effort, goes really quite well for 90BHP in 4th and 5th which I can sort of understand as the weight is already moving at that point. Always been looking to re-map mine, but I'd leave it at that rather than going down the usual de-cat, de-egr, intercooler, stage 2, blah blah blah. I couldn't do anything else other than the laptop-remap myself anyway as I often end up running around the garage like a monkey while waving hammers about anyway :p
  22. My computer got kicked out of it's old place. There has basically been a PC in that place for me for the last ten years, but times change I suppose, and it's now in my room which if I'm honest is a bit short on space. Smaller desk, smaller room, no-where to put anything. What did I do to make it even worse? I bought a 27inch 1080P monitor  :p http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x104/GTAMADDOG/IMG_1332_zpse443a300.jpg This is going to take some getting used to, or I'll have to get different wardrobe to free up some space, or move the PC itself on to the ground which I'm definitely not a fan of. It's only been where it is for twenty minutes so hopefully I can get a better layout for it all sorted out in the next few weeks.
  23. I've got installed on my iPhone 4, no problems installing here. Just looks like they've changed the icons to make it easier to see what they are (like it wasn't obvious already). I guess they wanted to go for a fresher look and to be honest, for some reason, my first thought was "Windows Phone" which I guess is because of the simplifying of the icons. Not bothered really. I've noticed the occasional lag that I didn't have before which is a bit of a concern, but hopefully they can sort that out later on. I'm not really one to comment on the whole aspect of the update though as I'm not one to look through everything and test it out.
