  1. I lold hard at some of the bike clips in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E4LDUe5K_4 Namely the ones at 4:42, 5:05 and 5:17.
  2. I do love Hip-Hop such as the above. Don't care too much for the new rap/'hip-hop' stuff though.
  3. This is the only photograph I could find that I've taken of one of the cars anyway: 1:18 Scale Off-Roading. by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Pretty sure I had a few on my Photobucket account but I can't find them.
  4. I saw one of these today as well, in a metallic blue colour. Never seen it around here before. Shame it sounded like one of the local rabble's Vauxhall Corsa's with a dust-bin for an exhaust :p Nice photos by the way.
  5. The guitar solo/section from 3:38 gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l75skRMlXk
  6. Yeh, I read about them being fragile but I also read about the CX300s I have being fragile and mine lasted a few years of being stuffed in the front pocket of a bag which I threw around like there was nothing at all important in it so I was more than happy with them. I'll see how the CX400s go anyway, they were £30+ on Play.com but about £15 on Amazon, I don't know what Play.com is doing at the moment.
  7. That was the thing with me though is that I only used them on the bus because I liked to be able to hear traffic coming when I was crossing roads instead of looking most of the time, so I just got the iPod out and put the earphones in once I was on the bus. Then the stupid longer cable would keep hitting my chin or my face because it would never straighten out properly. Pikey cable tidy bodge fix and it was job done for me :p I like the Bang & Olufsen earphones (really good quality) I have, but the only problem with them is that I can't really listen to music too loudly because they emit so much noise into the space around me, which usually ends up with me being told to turn my music down so it's got to be these in-ear jobbies for me. What's the point in listening to Rock and Metal if it isn't loud.. :p
  8. I want a 1000HP Supra. I'd keep it looking completely standard though for even more luls. Also want one of these two:
  9. I'll re-phrase that to "but it wasn't an SRT8" :p
  10. *walks in to thread with nothing special like a poor person* Saw something which made me laugh yesterday morning. Guy over the road owns a Mercedes S500 and the day before yesterday he must've had the windows to his car open as it was quite hot, only to forget about the windows being down when he got home. Not long after, it starts peeing it down with rain and a few hours later by the time I go to bed he has still not put the windows back up. I get up the next morning and look at his car to see the windows still down and it's still raining and has been all night. S500 With a Wet Passenger Seat by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Only shortly after I took the photo did he come out and realise he'd left the front windows open. Maybe I should've said something, but his kids annoy the Hell out of me so I let mother-nature have her fun :p Also saw a 2011 Dodge Charger but it looked like a pretty basic one.
  11. Following on from my last post in here I bought some new earphones. Sennheiser CX400 IIs, I loved my CX300s but I didn't think the CX300 IIs were enough of an upgrade so I went for some CX400s this time. They come with a nifty volume controller and the cables to each ear-piece are of equal length so that won't annoy me now. I tied the cables on my CX300s up with a cable tidy because I didn't want to put the longer cable around my neck like it's meant to be :p Haven't tried them out yet because I've finished work for the week and won't need them until Monday morning but at least they're here. 12. Bus broke down twice on the way to work, the first time it broke down the driver managed to fix it temporarily but the second time he just gave up and called Stagecoach to say he'd broken down. Good job another bus going to the same place as me was just behind so I jumped on that and just about caught my next bus. Apparently the bus I was on in the morning which broke down twice also broke down in the afternoon. The newer buses really don't seem to like the hot weather but the older buses seem fine. Infact I think the older buses are better because they seem to go a bit better and the only time I've seen one 'break down' was when it ran out of diesel, good old 90s engineering. Apart from that it wasn't really that bad a day.
  13. Took this when I was on holiday in Tenerife last year, I was sat on the balcony of our apartment during the evening eating and he came out of no-where and sat on the railings infront of me. Haven't managed to get a decent photo of a bird on my new camera yet. P1010442 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr
  14. I saved a Starling (At least I think it was, I'm only an 'expert' in pigeons :P ) from the claws (and teeth) of my cat this morning while I was trying to eat my breakfast. I was sat watching Top Gear on Dave and wondered what all of the rustling in the hallway was about, only to go out there and see my ginger cat with a Starling in it's mouth looking up at me as if to say "Look what I've got!". Seeing this I tried to walk towards the cat only for it to dart off down the hallway and into my dad's bedroom (we live in a bungalow), I go after it hoping the cat hasn't taken the bird under the bed as it'd be impossible to get it out from there, but luckily the cat's decided to put the bird down on it's side next to my computer desk. Me thinking the bird was dead started shouting expletives at my cat, pick the cat up and (OMG ANIMAL CRUELTY) literally throw it out of the room just to make sure it gets the message (It landed on it's four feet and has jumped from a greater height anyway). I then go back to the bird to see it in the same position but I notice it's still breathing and blinking it's eyes. Annoyingly I have nothing to put the bird into, and even more annoyingly my cat has managed to open to the door and starts walking up to the bird again. At this point (to my surprise) the bird flies to the other side of the room quicker than I can blink, it ends up in the window sill where the cat quickly jumps up to and tries to grab the bird again, but I manage to pull the cat away in time and I make sure the cat isn't able to get back into the room. I open the window but the bird flies off the window sill and sits behind the remains of my old computer desk so I find something to gently prod it with to get it to move, it flies up and into the other window in the room so I dart across and go to open the window to let it out. I manage to open the window without freaking it out much more and it flies out and across the road and into a small tree. There were some feathers and what I presume is bird excrement but other than that there was no blood and it seemed to fly OK so at that point I was happy I'd done the little fella a favour and I hope in his little bird mind he appreciates it some day. tl;dr/coolstorybro/ttiuwp.
  15. I don't think I could live without my iPod Classic. It goes pretty much everywhere with me :P I thought it had broken last week because the sound through my earphones kept dropping out in one ear-piece then the other. After a bit more investigation it turns out it was my earphones that were on their way out (wire must be split or something because if you move it slightly the sound will drop out in one ear-piece) which I'm much more happy about. I only ever take my iPod out of it's case to clean it so it's pretty well looked after and never knocked about so it shouldn't die on me yet (2 years old).
  16. I'll beat you to it with this: iPhone 4 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr iPhone 4 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr New and old together (Should've been the other way around but I'm too tired to care to be honest :P) iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Excuse the photography skillz. Contract runs out next month so I decided to upgrage the iPhone 4 because I like my iPhone 3GS that much, I'll be giving my 3GS to my sister who I can pretty much bet will be bored of it after a month or two in which case she has to give it back to me to sell.. as long as she looks after it which will be a tough task for her.
  17. Something a bit different from me. Something I always catch my grandad listening to and it's randomly popped into my head while I was playing TDU2, lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0DIPWMtNv4

  19. Came free with the motherboard. Just a gimmick I think, it does vibrate though. Better not let any girls near it I suppose :p
  20. Rubbish attempt at taking photos of circuitry, etc: Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr MSI P67A-C45 Intel P67/Intel Core i5 2500k by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr MSI P67A-C45 Intel P67 by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Should've probably tried taking the photos in the day, rather than at night in a dull-lit room really.
  21. My latest purchases: New Computer Parts.. by GTAMADDOG, on Flickr Another 4GB RAM and aftermarket heat-sink and fan for the CPU coming in the next month or so.
  22. Any updates on this? Never bothered with RMAing things myself. I think it's too much hassle but then again in that sense I'm just throwing away money. Actually no, that's a lie, I got my monitor fixed but that was because all I had to do was take it to PC World and they sent it off and whatever else. Other than that I either try fixing it myself or throw it into the back of a drawer, lol. Just bought an i5 2500K myself. Different motherboard and RAM though, because I'm on a tighter budget :p
  23. God, I love this song/album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6vOj_OPzHo
  24. Love this, shame it's not three times as long.
