  1. Since when were we talking about Corvettes? Hotlink fail... :p Fixed it for ya! :D http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/Pontiac-Solstice_Coupe_2009_800x600.jpg
  2. Well, it's not stated in the rules... And in another forum that I visit (FG), shots like these are used because whole shots of cars are always too easy to guess for the pros over there :P
  3. It's a Lada Concept C! Guess this... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/bumpertata.jpg
  4. Great news! The guy whom my dad bought the car from knows the RR dealer's manager well, so we managed to book a nice respray and dent knocking 2 days ago! So now, the car is waiting for its second and last phase of repair, to fix the chipped wheelarch, and align the bumper! It's now half fixed :D http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04218.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04217.jpg
  5. Looks like it's going to an independent car body workshop this weekend! Not going to the RR dealer, since we don't want expensive bills again :P I'm sure they'll do a good job in ironing out the dents and scrape. But my question is, will the color matching be 99% perfect?
  6. ^ They are really expensive from the BMW dealer though, at around SGD$300=US$240 per piece. So if you want to get them, best to try elsewhere, though it may be hard ^^
  7. They're the ones you see displayed in the gifts and souvenir section of your local BMW showroom, I'll go check it out later :D Got it free as a "Buy one real BMW car, give two BMW toy cars" deal we had with the salesman :P EDIT: They are from Kyosho, and they are official BMW products, even stating at the back of the box "BMW Group, 80788 Munich"
  8. My dad was really pissed with him, and we estimate repair costs with repainting to be at least SGD$5000 from a non-RR workshop. I'm just hoping the paint will still look the same! :)
  9. Sad post: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04206.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04207.jpg EDIT: I forgot to add that the Mini is an original model from the 60's, fully restored and totally mint.
  10. Story: My dad let one of his employee, the company's account manager, drive it around for the boss (while he was here for a few days), because he said it was tiring work to drive such a big car. Even before the accounts manager had piloted the car completely out of the parking lot, he turned the wheel too quickly, and caused the car to grind against the adjacent pillar! :| No insurance claims, since insurance premiums without bonus discount is nearly SGD$20,000 a year, and no claims bonus transferred from my dad to the car is 50%. So in the near future, it will pay a visit to the Rolls Royce workshop, where the car will hopefully be restored to its former pride, albeit at extreme high price (think about the paint, which is two-tone)
  11. Mine: My bigger sized collection... http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00297.jpg M5 & M6. Given when we bought our E90 320. Costs around USD$350 for two. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00300.jpg Extremely high attention to detail! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00308.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00322.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00307.jpg Plastic V10s! :D http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00313.jpg They've even got seatbelts for every seat! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00314.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00323.jpg Last is a Lincoln Limo that's cheap and poorly made. http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00326.jpg My smaller collection: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00281.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00283.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00284.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00285.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00286.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00289.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00287.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00296.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00295.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00294.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00293.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00292.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC00291.jpg A few more new ones since then, but not pictured :P
  12. Now the car comes with extra scratches: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04211.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04210.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/DSC04208.jpg
  13. Great work! Will be waiting for a release of such a great car ^^
  14. TDUZoqqer, I've just seen your amazing Hamann Volcano up for download at other sites, and I'm using this great model right now. Are you making it available here too? :D
  15. Sorry for requesting, but I really wish the CLS had a blacked-out makeover too! Pretty please? :D
  16. Won't it be good to have a VIP style Lexus ISF with LOW ride height? :P http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l113/Homer_Bart/IS-FTB-1.jpg
  17. Just a small question, is there any way the vents can be incorporated with the windows? Maybe a window down will mean open vents. An example would be that it works the same way just like Grin116's Cayenne S which had suspension that went up and down with the windows. Good luck anyway :D
  18. The Mazda 6 is very poorly made, but if you still want it: http://tdu-rusmods.3dn.ru/load/1-1-0-80
  19. Or you could work on vehicles nobody has tried before, such as maybe even pickups trucks (Chevy S10) or utes (e.g. Holden VE Ute), if they float your boat, that is :P Or maybe you can do a Perodua or a Proton! Just a thought from me. But whatever you do, don't give up. We value modders all alike :D
  20. It sort of looks like the Jeep Treo concept, but isn't one.
  21. ^ After we bought it, it had some slight restoration/checkup/maintenance of the engine and mechanicals, 2 sessions of thorough cleaning of the interior, and some fixing of the slight blemishes here and there (i.e. the rubber window seal that's cracked and making whistling noises). It's bound to last forever (albeit being a bottomless money pit)! :D
  22. Sorry to interrupt, but can anyone identify this? http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e17/araracd/guess218.jpg
