  2. I had no problems when merging then exporting other models (Alfa GT, Brera z3ds), using the free version. I really think the 3dg -> z3d has failed for some points. The only difference between ZM2 versions is the import filter, just disabled in free one. Moreover, we attempted to the the same things with converted traffic cars, and got the same probs (could not get material info... blabla).

  4. Last night, I tried to open Speeder's z3d file too. It seems to be a problem when the model was converted from 3DG to z3d. Commoon textures are missing (not the SLR ones)... so related mappings are definitively corrupted. The problem is we haven't ZM2 full, so another person converts models for us then sends them under z3d format. He's trying to import models again with Oleg's tutorial now. Tool, I send you the z3d file by PM. Could you have a look at it ? Just to confirm the model needs to be imported again (or maybe fixed ?). Thanks.

  7. Extract TDU_CarPhysicsData.us from DB_US.bnk then open it with DB Editor. Car and brand names are there. Warning ! - If you replace "Noble" by "Audi", every Noble will be an Audi. - If you just replace "M14" by "R8", the car will have for name "Noble R8". To sum up, there's not any miracle solution for the moment.

  9. I can't promise anything yet, but we (french community) currently have a look at the traffic structure (which is pretty near of actual racing models). Our first step is to integrate a real city car into the traffic. We'll keep you informed. ;)
  10. Yes, though map-key is also used into File Browser. File size restrictions are removed for these 4 new files. Enjoy !

Now you can replace RS4.bnk with any file and TDU will accept it :) To do this : - download the last key revision (r152) : http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=3739 - replace existing map-key.xml by this new revision - replace your RS4.bnk by renamed model of GT-R (for example) Then, start the Modding Tools : - either in File Browser, retrieve RS4.bnk file, hit CTRL+M (Map details) then fix it - or in MAP Tool, use 'Fix all' function. Please let me know if it works.

  14. Hi, Format for TDU's wav is the following : MS ADPCM 44100Hz 4 bits mono On the other hand, make sure that your sample length (in time) is less or equal than the original one. Otherwise, TDU will cut it (noticeable with horns); and this has nothing to do with the BNK Editor cutting/filling. Sample lengths are likely to be stored in the .xmb file.

  16. Seems you'll have to wait a little, since car body file RS4.bnk is not supported by the tools yet. That's to say I don't know what place to modify in bnk1.map to allow its replacement by another file (like GT-R one). I have to look for it manually. I'll go back here and update key.xml when done (not before Monday though).
  17. No. Even if it's smaller, you have no guarantee. The only way to ensure it does not crash, is to Fix bnk1.map file with File Browser or MAP Tool (see TDU Modding Tools); of course after having replaced car files.

  21. Hummmm I suggest you to use paint.net instead of dxtbmp. It fully supports DDS files. We've noticed a loss of quality when saving BMP to DDS back.
