  1. Basically I'm going to university in September and I'll be needing a decent laptop cos I'll be doing modelling/rendering and some graphics stuff (and playing the odd game in between getting dru- I mean working). The plan is to sell my desktop gaming PC (to who, I have no idea) as I can't be bothered with lugging it all the way to uni and back. Don't really have an exact budget, I have quite a bit of savings but I don't really want to spend much more than £700, need to save as much as I can for uni. It depends on how much I can sell my old PC for as to how much I can increase that by, if at all. Ideally the laptop should have: A good processor (2.2Ghz Dual core as an absolute minimum, i-Series or a faster dual core would be better) 4Gb Ram (or 2Gb with the option to upgrade later). Dedicated graphics, 1Gb memory would be great but I won't hold my breath on my budget. 500gb Hard Drive (could compromise on this as I'll be buying an external drive). 17" screen would be a nice bonus. I'm aware the above is quite unrealistic for £700 tops, but the laptop needs to last me 3-4 years :p Thanks in advance to anyone who helps with my laptop hunting
  2. If you read what he has on his profile page it makes things a bit clearer. Really don't understand the attraction but each to their own.
  3. Win. I think I posted this a while ago but I can't be bothered to find it.
  4. ^ Would post the actual video but the sound quality is horrible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cKNa0DQ0I8
  5. Some more art from me, this time some abstract landscape stuff. These were done on canvas, 1 metre x 30cm for one of my final art projects.
  6. This'll do for now: Also: Thursday 25th for the closing date? The 25th is a Sunday :P
  7. Aha, I've been told that before. It's actually based off a photo I took (yeah I really did stand there like an idiot photographing my fist). I was originally gonna paint this anarchy symbol over the top of it as my art project was about politics and stuff (been listening to too much Rage Against the Machine) but I decided not to bother in the end
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj-PbcJSQpI Such a great tune :)
  9. Thanks :) I didn't actually know the caterpillar was there when I took the photo, it was only when I was looking the photos on my PC that I saw it. Your photos are great too, so many nice cars

  16. Radiohead - Everything In It's Right Place So simplistic but I love it.
  17. Edited my post with the entry :)
  18. Bought L4D2 for £6.80 yesterday and just got Half Life for £1.19 in the Daily Deals. Tons of bargains to be had here. Unfortunately although the collection offers (Rockstar collection, Valve Complete pack etc) are really good value now, I have half of the games from each pack so it'd be a waste of money getting them. Still, some pretty good deals to be had. (Still waiting for L4D2 to download, been waiting since 8 this morning thanks to my crappy internet :( )
