  1. What's the big deal about it? A kid at my school got the same thing last September. Victory Red 2010 Camaro SS. It's not exactly monumental or anything.
  2. I applaud you for the force with which you hit that nail on it's head.
  3. Isn't it about time for change? I mean this is, what, the 4th "different" model under the same design? I like the new taillights, but mainly because it's the only thing new.
  4. It's something! OMG it's something! It's been forever since we've heard something about TDU2 lol
  5. I did lol. Put you in a wierd position doesn't it? You could keep it for memorablilia, but you already have on. If you sell it to the game, it's only like 45k or something like that. So really there is nothing to do with it lol
  6. How does this car even remotely relate to the Evo? lol
  7. Like Z06due said, the Z06 is cheaper than the SRT-10. It can go either way. And the ACR is only cheaper than the ZR1 because it is stripped WAY out to be a track car. the ZR1 comes with Navigation, leather interior, heated seats, air conditioning, a radio, and many other luxuries that are either an option on the ACR, or not available at all. The ACR is a track car, the ZR1 is a car that can be driven on the track, but can also be driven on the road as well.
  8. By opinion only... Anyhow, I kind of like it. The interior is stunning I believe and is really improving GM's reputation for bad interiors. The exterior is truly an acquired taste. I like it but can completely understand why someone wouldn't. But, it is at the very least an improvement over the last model. General Motors is striving hard for improvement and i think this is proof.
  9. 2012 Chevrolet Aveo sneaks out of presentation by Damon Lavrinc (RSS feed) on Feb 23rd 2010 at 4:40PM 2012 Chevrolet Aveo – Click above for image gallery With the recent unveiling of the Aveo RS concept at the Detroit Auto Show and spy shots of Chevrolet's diminutive hatch testing in Michigan, Chevy is obviously prepping all-new Aveo for prime time. And judging by these pics procured by KickingTires after a presentation by Bob Lutz, the Aveo is getting a much-needed makeover both inside and out. With a front end that stays true to the RS, along with a set of bulging fenders and an artfully carved swage line, the 2012 Aveo is a dramatic departure from the budget-conscious model roaming the streets today. Coupled with a thoroughly revised interior, complete with upgraded materials and the RS' motorcycle-inspired gauge cluster, the Aveo has its sights set squarely on the new Ford Fiesta, particularly when it arrives in five-door form. Pricing remains a question mark, but we'd suspect all the details to be revealed before the end of the year, with sales starting sometime in 2011. 10. The Viper is just too expensive to make though. It's so expensive that Dodge has to keep raising it's price to the point to where people don't want to buy them anymore. They are fantastic cars for the track. But, Dodge need to figure out a way to sell them for less.
  11. I didn't like it too much to be honest. I'll just take the Camaro by itself instead lol
  12. I really don't think Chrysler even care anymore. They have done absolutely nothing to improve themselves in any way. Ford experienced severe financial troubles a few years back. What did they do? They significantly improved their quality in their products. General Motors experienced severe financial troubles a recently. What did they do? They significantly improved their quality in their products. And then you have Chrysler who have done the same as the other 2 and have done nothing about it. Their sales continue to decline and it just seems like they don't care. I don't know if it's them or Fiat, but someone is definitely doing something wrong.
  13. Yes, it would be mine :) For a look at my parent's vehicle, click the link below this sentence: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=5813 http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=5813 Or you can click the link above this sentence: Either way, you go to the same place :D
  14. My bad, work takes time. I have some taken, just never got around tp putting them up. Maybe sometime this week. Sorry I've just been busy lol
  15. Enterprising tuners swap Focus RS engine into Ford Transit Connect by Jonny Lieberman (RSS feed) on Feb 18th 2010 at 2:28PM DIY Transit Connect RS - click above for high-res image gallery It's every pistonhead's nightmare scenario. Yes, yes, you love your kids. But what happens when the determination is made that you need a minivan. They make so much sense, and they're so practical. And when you're juggling three brats, two shopping bags and a stroller, being able to hit one button and slide the doors open is better than all the V12s in Britain. Sure, but remember this: minivan. With that in mind, consider this: Some speed loving nutters over in jolly ol' England have gone ahead and swapped in a 275 horsepower four-banger from a 2003 Ford Focus RS into the waiting bay of a Transit Connect. That's pretty cool, eh? It actually gets a bit better. The builder installed a switch that let's you switch tanks from gasoline to LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). When running on LPG, the motor still churns out 200 hp. Of course, just tossing in a slammer of an engine is one thing, but if you want a true sleeper you need to do more. And more is precisely what's been done. Aside from all the upgraded turbo parts and exhaust bits needed to take the normally 212 hp motor up to 275 ponies, there's the five-speed manual from the RS complete with trick quaife limited-slip diff. Then you got performance tires, Sparco seats and a boost gauge. And it's for sale for £8,000. Cool? Or should we say cool enough for enthusiast dad? Almost probably maybe yes. 16. BREAKING: Three Tesla executives die in Palo Alto plane crash *UPDATE by Jeremy Korzeniewski (RSS feed) on Feb 17th 2010 at 2:01PM A small, twin-engined Cessna crashed this morning in an East Palo Alto neighborhood, killing all three passengers on board. According to reports, the plane was owned by Doug Bourn, a senior electrical engineer for Tesla Motors, and all three occupants were high-ranking officials at the electric car company. Authorities have not yet named the deceased. "[The plane] hit a power line. Then it exploded... then half hit the next door neighbor's house and the other half hit across the street. We were right in the road," said neighborhood resident Heather Starnes. No injuries were reported on the ground, though a number of homes were damaged, including one currently being used as a daycare facility. The National Weather Service had issued a dense fog advisory for the Bay Area earlier in the morning that was in effect until 10 a.m. A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration said the "decision [to take off] would have been up to the pilot." We'll update with an official comment from Tesla when we hear back. *UPDATE: Fox News reports Elon Musk was not on the plane (via Twitter). *UPDATE: Local news video from Mercury News posted after the jump. 17. I think it looks ok to be honest. Not the prettiest thing in the world but it's ok.
  18. Basically exactly what Mellors said. Even after the 2 years I have played the game, it's just gotten old. Sure, on rare occasion a night of racing does me some good. But that's only when all of my friends are there and we have something interesting to talk about. It isn't even the game that interests me, it's the people and atmosphere. Not everyone is as interested in TDU as they once were. In fact, practically no one is. And there is nothing wrong with that.
