I don't drift much. In fact, not at all any more. But if I were to drift, these would be the cars I would be using: Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Saleen S7 (with much practice) McLaren F1 GTR (or LM if you have one)

I have come up with a piece of advice for those who "Strip" or enjoy arguing frequently... My advice is this: "You know you have lost an argument when the only rebutle you can come up with involves someone else's mother." There we go...:)

You people are clearly not understanding my post... You drive a civic or eclipse? Good for you, go right ahead, I could care less. My post was pointed specifically toward those who try to make their car look for sound faster than they know it can go. They put these huge exhausts on them and they make these harindous noises. And put stupid vynals on them that they think are cool. Then they try to have a go at a car they know is faster just so they can look cool. This is how it works where I live. Doesn't work that way where you live? Not my problem.

and the new challengers fully loaded are about 50k on the nose. and with them being a year old and no longer exclusive as they were last model year (08), there are no longer that many dealer mark-ups, if any at all. And if there are, they are irrelevant as there are many places where you can get one as the msrp...

Ricers are an embarasment to the car enthusiast world. Yes, your car is a 4-cylinder, yes your car is slow, and yes everyone in the world knows that. Sticking a 8-inch diameter exhaust pipe on your civic or putting racing vynals on your eclipse are not going to make them any faster. The only thing that is going to do is make people laugh out loud at your arrogance...

Ahh here we go, I hadn't heard one of these in a while but: There is a guy on TDU who actually has a Hummer H3 and can drive around in it. Now, my first response was the sensible one to ask if he also owns the PC version in addition to his 360 version. Since, this kind of thing can actually happen on the PC version. But no, he specifically said is was the 360 version. I told him that the vehicle he was driving didn't look like any Humer H3 I had ever seen. But he straightened that one out for me. He told me that on my screen, the car he is driving is probably showing up as a Shelby Daytona coupe. Strangly enough it was, so he must be telling the truth, right? ;)

No no, not a particular one. I have just had a bad experience lately with someone about some of those things that annoy me. but not all of them.

Here's an interesting one: Some guy at the Strip was telling me that he could beat anyone in the game in a Saleen S7. Being told this I was quite eager to ask why. And what do you think he told me? Not nitrous, not using different gears, no even special drafting skills. Nope, apparently, he downloaded a special engine off of the internet and installed it into his Saleen. He also said that this was something only exclusive to his club. Luckily for me, some of his other club members came into the server. But strangly, when I asked him, he could not tell me a 0-60 time, a top speed, a horsepower rating, or anything about his beloved engine. And when I asked his other club members if they knew how to do the same thing, they simpoly replied by saying that they don't know how to do it, but his car is faster so he must be doing it. I found it strange, however, that I could keep up with his car exremely well by only using gears 3, 5, and 6. But he already told me that wasn't what he was doing so his engine story must be true. So, I challenged him to a race that involved turns and he told me something about me being scared to drag race and then said something about my mother. So, I left. It never gets old lol :)

Well I'll be honest and say yes, you probably did have something to do with it. But that's not to say that I didn't or anybody else didn't either. We all say something to upset someone eventually. We all have our own opinions and we all express them. The problem is, not evenyone goes by the same method of dealing with someone who does not agree with their opinion. Some stay silent, some argue, some flame, and some leave. If we could all respect each others opinions, then it would be much easier to be here. But the fact is, not everyone is ever going to do so.

700 billion was never even the planed money for the bailout. It was around 30 billion. And while they haven't gotten money to the suppliers yet (which has already been stated), GM and Chrysler have already recieved money. Ford has not yet but their's is on the way.

It was 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO and the color was Rosso Corsa. There were no numbers in front of the name. But that's that museams fault, not mine. But if you can tell me differences between the numbers, than I can probably narrow it down to a certain one...

While watching the Inaguration, I noticed something wierd about it...It's hardly a DTS at all lol. The Body is a DTS, but the roofline is raised to account for the extra steel protection, it has an entire, re-sized Escalade front end, a new CTS fron grille, and STS rear and, XLR exhuast pipes, and SRX taillights. They simply took the DTS and added components from all other Cadillac models to it...very clever.:)
