1. Any chance you could upload an audio track with the sound? Just that some people won't download mods if they dont know what it looks/sounds like As they said on JK2Files (Yes, I love Star Wars :P) "No Piccy, No Clicky"
2. Hehe nice pics! I'l have to edit out your "FFFFUUUU*Censored*" before I post mine!
3. Just paint it grey and black, that's what I've done.
4. Dont forget, you have the 0rpm to whatever rpm in 1st gear. Your revvs don't drop back to 0 for 2nd gear do they? That's why 2nd gear appears shorter than 1st!
5. im not sure if winrar can open it. Or even windows explorer? I had a game once that you could open Dat's with.
6. The rules say no noticable photoshopping. I can easily notice radial blur.
7. The numbers look fine ingame. They're the same colour as the old "RUF" logo within the central gauge.
8. You need 7 maybe even 8 different sound pitches in the same environment to get a good soundmod out of it.
9. There is a rare glitch if you keep entering photomode, taking a photo, then quickly pressing back, your camera might glitch. But its a pain in the proverbial butt to make a whole video out of it
10. Modders take up modding for a challenge/something to do. If it gets too tough for them, they quit and come back at another time. Now if people asked me to "Mod some gauges" I'd be happy with that. But if people TELL me to make this, and whine when it's not done within the specified timeframe, I'd say "Shut it, it's my mod, I'l release it when I feel like it's ready" That's what some of the members on here fail to realise. Its very easy to say "Hurry up, I want this mod!!!one11" But they're not doing the work, They're not testing it to make sure it's perfect for release. They're too hypocritical and I believe that is why some modders have ceased their projects.
11. it Looks LIKE an XJ220, but im pretty sure its not. After 10 minutes of googling around. I couldn't find anything like that. So i'm just gonna say "Bristol"
12. which car are you modding? Also, did you convert the dds to 2db and then insert the new 2db into the bnk?

13. Iced, how about putting the image sideways, so the car is facing the right of the screen? that would work, wouldn't it?
14. Personally, i prefer the original sound for cruising, but like the high.on sound when racing
15. Take your time on it mate, please don't rush! Sorry to hear about the personal events, hope all gets better for you.
16. No problem mate, good luck!

17. 5.9 on everything except graphics cards, as they are "underclocked" (nVidia Control Panel has a feature where you can choose to save power when you're just browsing the net or something low-key.
18. Tool, Ive noticed on the Right Door panel of the FTO, there is a Chrome Strip, sorta like a mirror? Apart from that little flaw, The driver not holding the wheel properly (AirWheel :D) The reverse lights not working, and the fact that it's still branded as the SC430 :( I'd say that this was TDU's greatest mod.
19. Listen. Please stop bringing up very old threads!! Please!!
20. Its quite simple really, its the actual modding which is the hard part. All you need to do is get photoshop Get TDU Modding tools (Latest) Get the nVidia DDS plugin for photoshop. Get some patience and skill and that's all there is to it. Once you have modded the gauge you want, Save it as a DDS file with these EXACT settings: [IMG] Then once you have done that, convert the DDS to 2DB via TDU Modding Tools, replace the "Controls.2db" (May be a different filename with some cars) then, go in game and admire your new creation!

21. wow! A 1 year, 7 month old thread!
