Mods generally are of higher poly than the stock Atari ones. The mods made by Tool and Reaper (Other modders, I'm not familiar with) Try and get the polies as high as possible without the game crashing.

That's exactly what we do. You (the members) don't see the infractions and warnings we give out.

Try reinstalling the game. Or, if you've used physics mods, get rid of them!

If you've recently (as in 6 months?) bought your PS3, there isn't backwards compatability I think the lower original model PS3's (40gb?) also failed to have the backwards compatability. Only the 60gb (I think) versions had it. But IIRC, that's now been removed from the newer batches. If you want to play PS2 games, buy a PS2, they're only around £50 now i think

As speed said, we can't read EVERY post in EVERY topic. The forum is just too large for that. The report button is there for a reason, so instead of moaning that things aren't on topic / are getting a little bit out of hand, report it! We'll deal with it and then everyone's a happy chap. One of the main reasons arguments and off topic posts get out of hand is the fact that some members' internet ego's are far too great for them to just let others get on with it. They need to sort it out, and then they're just going to cause more trouble. So instead of whining that things aren't being done, just use that pretty little button. We'll deal with anything you report (unless it's stupid, of course!) as soon as we see it (as the staff room is at the top of the forums, it's the first thing the admins and mods see)

Some mods can inexplicably cause engine faults (so to speak) A few of the earlier mods restricted your rev range. So you'd never hit the rev limiter. I don't think anyone has figured out why though

To get 100%, you need to do some multiplayer races, but I don't think anyone actually does them any more :|

Did you apply enough thermal paste to your processor? Can the PC boot into the BIOS (IE, can you hear a short beep even if there is no display) is your VGA/HDI cable working properly Same for your monitor, does that work? There are many things which spring to mind when a PC just shuts down and doesn't come back on. 1: Processor. Could have burnt out (hence the thermal paste) 2: Motherboard. Could be kaputt, the fans turn on as a diagnosis. 3: Graphics card. IIRC, PC's can't boot properly without a display device. 4: Power fault. Maybe the house's power cuts out with your PC (some houses do!) They're the only things that spring to mind at the moment, but if you could give a little more information on what happens, as in the fans spinning for a certain time/indefinately. etc.

Ugh. Physics mods :evil: I think the only way we'll get the new sections is if there are more demand for the categories of mods. If more people want Carda's races, there'd probably be a section for custom races. If more people (unfortunately) want physics modifications, same story.

ah fair enough, you've pretty much followed it, except there are no copyright notices :) for future reference, you can use [*modcreate][*/modcreate] (without the *'s) to make things easier for you. (Or alternatively, if you've converted the car from somewhere else, use [*modconvert][*/modconvert] (without the *'s)

Reminds me of the Purvis Eureka mixed with the Ford GT40. Hate to admit it, but I actually like it!
