When can we enjoy this features? I hope that can be activate soon because my friends and me want to create a club, trade cars/bikes and enjoy the full multiplayer game.
Don't think this will be ever possible with the mod. When this even is possible programming-wise, what I dont think, nobody will bother to Continue this mod anymore since the demand is almost non existent. Not only for the Features but TDU in general

the fix of that is actually just a texture replacement and a material rename, so if one really wanted to change interior colors ingame they just have to do that
E: If you actually want to do that, rename the material to C1_DASH or something. C1 is primary and C2 is secondary color.

Try to install the cars by replacing (for debug). If the Problems remain its a fault by the mod itself

its sorta ridiculous how we have to discuss optimizing the usage of the machine capacities for a game from 2006. clearly 99% of the modders have no idea about modding. They just slap in new 3D models thats it. its kinda sad

lol i am just saying that it is just sad that more competent people than me are not exploring more the files of tdu 2 . calm down you lalalalalala.
and yes 2 weeks I have done more than 10 years in file exploring tdu but sadly too much unknow values only more cpmpetent people than me can find what these values are
" Bethankful and understand their side, since you've tried to be in their shoes for only 2 weeks and already gave up. " lol I made more mod of different game than you think and you make tdu 1 lalalalalala autopack ahahaha
Jesus I have no words for it. Just stop it. I understand people having better things to do than digging around in a 13 year old game.
Also please show me what you did when you're such a dopeass modder, since I have found nothing relevant of your work
Best regards, a modder since 2008 and current videogame developer.

tdu 2 mods are not progressing because modders and coders dont want to explore files ! the files are not encrypted only structured data there is so much to discover but modders only want to edit "vehicules" thats great but I find this a bit limited.
There is absolutely nothing holding you back to explore the files. Go for it!

Why are you against it?
I literally Posted that in my second reply in this thread lmao.
But when It helps the forums, go for it

Well I am still against it, but since you guys are all for it, I will exclude myself from the discussion and let you decide

Not sure if i agree with this statement entirely. Mostly because we could debate what it moral and convenience in this matter and what is not. Are we taking into consideration only the modders? Are we taking into consideration the case of most 3D people who worked to make these cars for another game that got ripped off and uploaded as raw 3D models and textures? Are we taking into consideration the fact that actually mod the game is something that the original creators of the game didn't want to, since we needed Djey to actually make TDU modding possible by making the Magic Map file?
But that's an old debate, and it could be extended a whole lot more.I have a very clear border about where my personal moral ends, and it's actually pretty simple to determine.
Was the creator of the mod / 3D model / textures paid for his work?
If yes:
(assets from games and purchased models from 3D-shops)
it's fine to convert it. (FOR NON COMMERCIAL USE, eg mods)
If not:
(it's a mod, a remodeled asset, or completely scratch made as your own private project)
it's not okay to rip it.
Money rules the world.

I perfer morals over convinience.

But people like tool or combat won't be able to defend themselfes since they are gone by now. If they mind or not, is a different story.
QuoteWhen I would log off from a website and discontinue my mods, I couldn't care less if I am linked or not, when I don't want my mods to be online in the first place.
Maybe I think like that since I have a very strict and organized surroundings at work and friends, but like said, that's my standpoint: A definite yes is only when it's a definite yes and not assumed.

Okay, sorry, I answered the question for all the forums by my own, shouldn't do that. I apologize.
Since it's open for discussion though, I am against uploading mods without authors permission, since I can put myself in their situation.
I also removed my own mods >FOR A REASON<, so I don't want my mods to be reuploaded aswell. Since I am still active on the forums, I can keep my mods removed if that happens, or at least complain and get it removed by somebody. But people like tool or combat won't be able to defend themselfes since they are gone by now. If they mind or not, is a different story.
And no, in theory I am also not 100% keen with my mods being in the Platinum Pack, but since it's a community project and my mods are not uploaded per-file, I can live with that.
My standpoint is:
When I would log off from a website and discontinue my mods, I couldn't care less if I am linked or not, when I don't want my mods to be online in the first place. But that's just my opinion, I am against that. Although when I am alone with that, then feel free to reupload.

My congratulation, TDU Zoqqer, for becoming a moderator here.
Are there any more details, what kind of mod database you intend to start?
What about those tons of mods, where their creators will never be find again, like the ones by Combat, Tool831 or Reventon09 for example, to get their permission to republish?
Would you like to host those mods too for all the people looking for them, and never would find anywhere otherwise?
I mean just a single list of all mods (vehicles, rims, sounds, ...) ever made won't help anybody in real, I think.@SneakiestDuke68: As a tip you could search at "playground.ru" for example. They still have alot of mods hosted, even without permission for sure.
Thanks!
It's purely for recent mods. We won't share any mods without authours permission, meaning old mods will most likely not be on here.
It's a download database, not a show-off database of every mod ever. The mods you see on the download section can be downloaded.

How can I contact him ?
You would need to a) contact the original creators of the mods, or b) find an alternative link, or alternative mod. Keep in mind that those mods are very old, so many of them are lost.

Dear TDU Modders,
with the new forums we would like to get back to a clean and neat platform for mods and racing games. In this matter please make sure that forum mods will pursue the mod posting rules even more in future.
Especially the mod hoster links will be controlled with every new thread.
We allow to share external download links from the hosters in our whitelist:
- mega.nz
Additionally, we are working on our own mod database where you can upload your files at.
With this matter we try to make the forum experience as pleasant as possible for every visitor. Without the fear of going to fishy hosters.
Please concider that the downlaod links in mod threads made after the 6th of January 2019, will have to be strictly from the hosters on the whitelist.
An exception is a transition or shortening link like adf.ly or bit.ly. Anything further needs to be a hoster from the whitelist.
Any thread after the 6th of January 2019 which is not made with the rules in mind, especially with a file hoster link different than the ones listed above will get the OP a warning. In case the threads of the same OP will still not conform with our guidelines after various warnings, the warnings will result in a temporary ban. So please take this seriously.
Thanks in advance and keep ducking around !

I vote light.. it matches the new modern look; it goes with the soft edges and fonts. Anyway, I do like dark too, but the only dark themed site that I visit these days is a warez site.
Youtube and Twitch's dark theme is very pleasing, for instance

tbh I never had any connection with Digimon, it always seemed like it was a cheap copy of Pokemon. Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh was my childhood. OG stuff.
