Those are some nice pics! But, I'm not a very big fan of racecar versions of cars that do not have race car versions... Yeah, I know there's a hillclimb 4C, but it's no GT3/4 racer...

Verstappen is the only driver who at least risks a little bit for the position... It's a shame they gave him the penalty but that was a crazy last lap!

I don't see the homologation thing as something bad. Yeah, I know the good thing about Forza was racing a crap can, against a full on racer, but I'm more keen on having a proper field of LMPs, GTs, etc, than a franken-field. The class system in Horizon 3 works better because it's more like "do what you want" game. Take an F50 through the field? Sure! Drop a trophy truck off a cliff? Go ahead! Even more, I don't see the whole point of a GT3 racer in a game based on open roads, I think that was a bit of a miss, but not too bad IMO.

The car collecting "game" within the game I think it's alright. Specially because there are cars I would never buy and drive. And by doing so at least you get to discover some hidden gems on the car roster. So I think it's okay.

And yeah the menus are a bit messed up, but no pCARS1 level of mess up, I guess.

The matchmaking... Oh it's so dumb, it always connects me to races that are already happening. Specially on the new GT Endurance races (IMO the best races), the matchmaking just connects you to a race that is 1 of 20 laps... I just disconnect and reconnect in another lobby just to see that it has the race started... Ughh so annoying.

I never particularly liked the 458 GT but damn you depicted it very well in that light.

Yeah, the rearwing looks like it's tacked on and called a day.

Very well done detail shots there mau and nice use of light too. Tasty composition on that final shot with the grandstand reflection aside the rumble strip which in itself adds some much needed colour to the dreary environment.

Yeah, LeMans provides some nice lighting conditions with dark skies and/or at night.

That red little Fiat looks awesome :D

Definitely pCARS 2 is what the first iteration should've been. I also agree that it's closer to Assetto Corsa than to GT/FM as you can use any car when and how you want, it's a lot more like "Enough with silly things, let's race". The weather effects and how it progresses is very natural, you can see how the racing line dries lap after lap and how going off it will give some unexpected results.

Btw, I just can't stand lootboxes on fm7, as Ry pointed out (And many more ppl) it's a moneygrabbing game within the game...

Yup, I got 4.3, it has some errors like showing wrong way when you are driving on the right direction and the time delta not working properly, but at least it records the times which is all what matters.

Managed 1:49, should be able to knock some seconds off with setup and practice

As Diablo said, it's easy to make a game look bad. As it is quite difficult to make a bad game look good. Check the screenshot thread I made Robik think my pics were FM7 when they were AC, not that AC is bad looking, but it's not the best looking either.

I'm with hassan, most of the time you are not stopped to see how patchy the grass is, most of the time it just rushes by, although I understand it's nice to see it when you are taking a screenshot or something similar.

I mean animated pit stops are nice and all, but it's something that can be looked over to be honest, when I'm playing F1 2017 it's an opportunity to go on my phone or drink water :lol: I don't really pay attention to them.

It's no excuse for having the car parked and add some "working on it" sound...

The first image is made extra special because of the wee Beetle in the background. It's like: why is that even there? :lol: Not sure you can really call an E39 M5 a sleeper ?? :hmmm:

Well, it certainly doesn't have the looks for the performance it has. So it's kinda a sleeper for the untrained eye.
