  1. Ain't nothing weird about that, bro. There are much weirder things that people like, haha
  2. No, but I've read the comments and lots of kids (literally kids) are saying he's not part of that club anymore. Same on Instagram. It's interesting that people care so much about some group of people in LA. Looks like the group is just selling merch now. I guess if he wants the GT R and the new hyper car from Mercedes, he'll have to make some advertisement disguised as vlogs/"reviews."
  3. Good thing I've moved. Oh, wait. I won't be able to watch it at home, will I?
  4. Not much is known about the car yet, but I suspect that the base diesel will have a manual like the Giulia. Yeah, I don't get it. I guess the Maybachs are selling well and Merc's found out that there are people who would like one without a roof. They could get the S 65, but it may not be exclusive enough for them? I mean, it's still got MB badges all over the place... They must know why they are doing it. Basically the only competitor for the car is the RR Dawn and Bentley GT C. I believe there is not any other super-lux four-door cabriolet on the market. Yesterday, websites reported that McLaren boss Ron Dennis is leaving the highest position in the company after more than three decades. And today the company confirmed that there's a three-seater in the works, BP23. It will be a "HyperGT", a super fast hybrid GT with three seats. Production starts in 2019, 106 will be made and all have already been sold.
  5. In the old thread from 2010 that Ryan posted 21 unique members replied in 24 hours. As of now, after almost two days, we're at 15 replies (incl. this one) from five people.
  6. Here is the Maybach in all its glory. It's just an S 65 with an additional zero on the trunk... The only new thing, technically, is the ugly chrome trim, new wheels, additional badges and wood trim. Oh and you get a car cover, bags and a signed certificate from Dr. Z himself. :p Costs €350k incl. VAT in Germany - about 80 more than a similarly-equipped AMG S 65. Why get a Mercedes when you can have a Rolls-Royce for a bit more? AR Stelvio QV Size of a Macan, 510PS QV drivetrain from the Giulia. Looks a lot like the Giulia, too. :hmmm:
  7. The theme I came up with is "off-road." Going off-road in a motor vehicle. Haven't had this theme for a long time according to my brief search.
  8. Oh, definitely. I love them. A Maybach without them is not a Maybach. :p
  9. Red, beige and lots of chrome. Uh oh, they can keep that for themselves. :p Here is a newer vid showing the 1 of 300 badge and some sick wheels.
  10. I very much approve of #3 and #4 personally. Good taste. :btup Why not the C7 Vette btw? I'd pick that one over any other generation.
  11. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u233/rom3n/RS7.jpg
  12. This is so hard. I dunno. I think I'd be happy with the following stable of cars: Singer 911 the night canyon warrior rear light kill switch just like McQueen  four liters of naturally aspirated fun in an old-style 911 body spec similar to pic above BMW Z4 M Coupe the occasional track car / canyon carver CSL carbon airbox and CSL wheels it looks kinda weird and that is the reason Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe the famous gullwing doors the doors of a billionaire the sound of the V8 for those expensive Friday restaurant nights with my non-existent gf :p same spec as pic below [*]Aston Martin DBS Volante 6-speed manual the most beautiful modern Aston for the summer cruising alongside the coast Audi RS 6 Avant pic says it all - DD/ winter beater imagine it in red and with a thule ski box --- Post Updated --- I approve, too. The two racecars are beautiful and the FF and DBS will always be top choices.
  13. Shamelessly stealing this from Jalopnik, but I think 'tis a good way to wake y'all up and get you engaged. The rules are simple. They don't exist. Just post pics of FIVE motor vehicles and write a sentence or two about each motor vehicle. It can be five Skylines in different colors or five black Model T's. No one cares. I'll post mine later. :monkeydance:
  14. I agree, it's everywhere, but the reason why it's everywhere is that it is can be done more or less easily, and it is a reliable motor. You'd run into electronics issues, ECU and all that sort of stuff. A guy who swapped an E92 M3 V8 in his 135i said that it was all going smooth until they started doing the electronics. Probably depends on how OEM you want to stay.
  15. Haha, yeah. It's from Florida, even. A white Testarossa from Florida with a salvage title. What could possibly go wrong? I'd just put a crate LS in it, gut the interior, do some suspension, take care of the body and go berzerk at california race tracks. I'd say another 20k and you could have a nice running track-prepped Ferrari.
  16. Would you? No Reserve: 1987 Ferrari Testarossa Project | Bring a Trailer I think it's calling for an LS swap and track car build.
  17. I wouldn't bother with the 65, though. The V8 is in real life a better thing to live with. Hmmm. I probably would even just stick with regular S500 coupe as I prefer the cleaner look of the non-AMG body. :hmmm:
