THIS REQUIRES DJEY'S MAGIC MAP TO WORK PROPERLY http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=3739 Bottom of 1st post, magic-map.zip ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, I put together some replacement audio bnk files for the Camaro Z28, AC 289, Shelby GT500, Dodge Charger Super Bee, and Nissan Skyline R34 GTR. The muscle cars are all loud and aggressive, lovely. The Skyline is also totally different from the original sounds. It does sound a bit NFS-noob admittedly, but I find it's still better than the original vacuum cleaner-style sounds. The sounds used in these are all from the TDU:C Sound Mod Pack V2. This isn't simply a compilation of sounds. I had to edit quite a lot of the sounds a fair bit to get them to fit. Call this a compilation, call it a mod, call it whatever. Just have fun with it. :cheeky: **REMEMBER TO BACKUP FILES BEFORE REPLACING THEM!**

I've been playing the game since beta, never got the disk just got a cd-key/ download from Direct2Drive (Bought from there). Awhile back I put in a few sound mods and I did make a backup of my Vehicules folder. Really can't stand the sound of a few cars that I used to drive a lot, and I have no way of getting the original sound files without going out and buying a new disc. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a original Vehicules Folder to download? Would anyone be willing to upload one somewhere for me? Would be really appreciated have some rewards for anyone willing to help, cheers :)

I've recorded a new set of samples just for the awesome Supra mod(s)!:) They come in two flavours ,with or without the BOV. In the beginning ,it was supposed to be only with the BOV effect ,but as I did it on top of RUF Spyder:thumbsup:(handles much better than xkr,has closer performance to Supra and even slightly better views) ,I noticed it has sort of a bug when shifting while accelerating ,so half the time you don't hear the bov:confused:(you can always hear it when you just let go the gas pedal though). This doesn't happen on the XKR ,so I packed both sounds in the zip, ruf(no bov) and xkr(with bov),but you can try it out for yourself and decide what you like best on what car...btw ruf goes 250rpms higher than xkr. I am editing a murcielago sound from youtube in audacity, but i don't know how to convert AUP to BNK. If any modder know how to,please explain to me,i am trying to make a perfect lp640 sound. At the moment,i am using skepsis lp640 sound for tdu. Sorry for my english, I am brazilian.:D Please delete the thread??

I recently wanted to change the idle sound of the GT500 and I found the perfect one that I really liked and would be perfect but when I change the idle sound it starts doing a high pitched screaming sound when its idling. So I figured that you possibly have to edit the sound some how? But I just don't know because it sounds great if that high pitched screaming sound (sounds like a car going at a million miles per hour. Anyways, So the idle sound that I want to use, is the idle sound from the Dodge Charger Super bee, boy does it sound great on the GT500 (in my opinion) So I was wondering if anyone could possibly do this? Or at least tell me how to do it. Thanks, I mean I already know how to use the BNK editor cause thats what I used to replace the idle sound on GT500 but it just didn't work right. Thanks again.

Finally here it is :thumbsup: I made it get rid of that glitch on "slk_on_high" and "slk_off_high" sound files :excited: Originally this isn't real M3 E46 sound but it's M3 E46 CSL sound.:rolleyes: Here is link on video Don't forget try out it in game;) [ModMod Edit:] Please do not double post, use the edit button in future, thanks! My car's with the replaced sound Have no sound at all. I did every thing it said do, (Which simply said just replace the sound of the vehicle with the modified sound and thats it. Is there something i am missing here.(Also I backed up the original files.) I mean i do not get it.:confused:

A sound for the Corvette. It's not great but I think it at least sounds better than the original. You can replace any of the three Corvette's sound with this one, or simply all of them. You will need the Magic bnk1.map. Sample (LQ): http://www.sendspace.com/file/sksz6u

hello, i've made a zonda sound mod, but when i open the game i dont hear any sound, and i tihnk i know the problem, the new .bnk is 3mb, and the original one is 400kb, so i've imoprted the file to audacity and made it lower quallity but it didnt help, how can i resize the file? edit: i've kinda succeed but umm.. its sounds sucks, i'll upload my wav files, can some modder download it and convert into a bnk file for the game?
