Hey guys, I know I haven't discussed this with anyone, but frankly it's so open and so accessible, I think it can just exist and be a thing we do for fun. So Time Attack- what is it? Have you been living under a rock? Time Attack is a real world discipline of motorsport where the winner is not based on physical track position or amount of laps completed, its purely based on lap time. You know the rivals leaderboards? Time Attack. Think qualifying laps, except you can bin the car and still win the race, as long as you qualified first. "So just use the rivals function". Yes. But where is the community interaction? What we're going to do is basically run this the same as the picture of the week comps- winner chooses next weeks theme. In this case, the 'theme' is the class of car (A, B, C etc) and any other restrictions (AWD only, naturally aspirated only, pre 1970 only, etc- any restrictions you like- could make it car specific, for extra emphasis on driver skill) and which circuit we'll be racing at. The winner isn't based on votes (obviously), rather the fastest lap time set within a time period (entries are open for a week)- emphasis on 'within a time period'- if you have already set a faster lap than what you managed to set in the period, it doesnt count. This will basically be an honour system/gentleman's agreement, but I mean really, the only reward here is the money you win IN GAME (everyone will make money out of this, because its a built in game mechanic) and the privelage of setting next weeks theme. The main idea behind this is to utilize a built in mechanic for a bit of community competition; knowing that there are people actively trying to set a faster lap than you, bragging rights, all that good stuff. Its something you can access any time, any day, and not commit to for the long run, or jump into late, it doesnt matter, its all for fun and theres no set number of events. So I know that we have a proper league in the works, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a trans Am series as well? I'm a massive fan of trans Am/historic touring cars etc, and fm6 offers a huge range of suitable cars and tracks. Keen to see the response to this idea, and if there's interest we can make something happen :)

The graphics look as good as all of the screenshots and videos that we've seen so far, the sounds are as good as they have ever been from Forza and there is quite a bit of content to say it's just a demo. Spotted in a post the official Japan Xbox website which has since been taken down, the screenshots confirm that weather effects (including 3D puddles) and night racing, two of the most frequently-requested features for Forza, will feature in Forza Motorsport 6, which isn't surprising given their inclusion in Forza Horizon 2. - See more at: Veni Vidi Vici - Forza Motorsport 6... [headline]Forza Motorsport 6 Announced[/headline] Where better a place to announce the next iteration of your extremely popular racing series than at a HUGE motorshow? That's exactly what Microsoft and Turn 10 have done alongside Ford with the announcement that Forza Motorsport 6 will be coming exclusively to Xbox One as the series hits its 10-year anniversary this year (yes Forza Motorsport came out in 2005 folks!). The partnership with Ford will also see the new Ford GT that was only just revealed at the autoshow itself becoming the 'cover car' of the sixth title.
