Hey all! Sorry that I haven't been around lately. Life really takes it's toll on my gaming hobby. Anyways, I brought some good news with me! A new sound mod release!:thumbsup: This sound is based around the Koenigsegg CCGT, and the idle sound is recorded directly from the CCGT by me! Enjoy!:cool: Note: I'm not sure if it will work with the CC8S, as I haven't tried it. It should work, as the sound files are the same. So those of you who don't have the megapack won't be left out with this release!;)

Hey all, I'm new here and sort of new at modding. I'm currently working on a 360 CS sound mod that I think you guys will like. First though, I need some help. I was wondering if a sound modder of this board could help me out. The sound quality is nice and high, and sound great. but the sound dies out as RPMs progress. It also starts to crackle and/or chirp after a while. I can provide the beta audio.bnk on this thread or through PM if you would like to hear it. Any help would be much appreciated! I can also promise that if you like ear-shattering-loud Ferrari exhaust, you'll like my sound replacer!:D EDIT: All sounds aside from Off_4000_2 (Off Mid as you will) and my idle sound are working correctly. Hopefully I will fix this and have a release within the next few days. The offer is still up for the beta BNK if anyone wants to hear it. Edit 2: Sound is finished! I solved the problems on my own. I'm converting an LP-640 sound from GTR2, and if you go in game and rev, it's fine. However, if you stay on one "sound loop thing" (1 rotation of the file) The noise cuts out The it clicks The game crashes to desktop Please help! Thank you! -Leadfoot

Please help me! This happened for the C6, and F430 sounds that I tried. 0. Make backup, copy other files to the same folder. 1. I extract the sound files in the .bnk file. 2. I match in Audacity the new sound file for the onhigh, offhigh, onlow, idle, etc. with the sound from TDU. 3. I go into the .bnk unpacker/repacker and replace the files. 4. I replace it, say yes to the overwrite. The files are the same size. 5. I go into the game, and go to check the sound difference, but IT HASN'T CHANGED AT ALL! No changes, no funny noises, it's just the same sound. This has happened with the Shell Petrol Station mod as well. No changes. Please, please help me! I've got a great source of sounds, but I can't put them into TDU! -Leadfoot

Thanks guys for all the videos and stuff i got tesdrive today and i was really worried about moddin' but i got the road one to work. however could some one p'm me with instrutions for the sound pack i just got. its the newest one im not sure what its called. and admin please move this thread if inappropriate. just very happy:excited:

"Your downloaded content has not been saved. You will be disconnected." Er... right. This was what happened almost instantly when I tried using a Gallardo Coupe in a race with the sound mod. Anyone else having issues? I then used the Gallardo SE from the standard game with the same sound mod and won it without being disconnected. What the hell is going on? EITD: This is insane. I selected a Lexus with fixed gear changing sounds, got a hundred yards down the road and then I was disconnected again, same error. When I loaded again I was disconnected instantly, before even having driven anywhere. Some consistency issue? How can I stop TDU from checking my sound files? ETDI: Ah, I understand now. Took a Dino 246 out to get a photo for POTW, but that had no mods and it errored again. It is the fact that I clicked rebuild game cache data in TDU Tools and my key for the megapack was lost. No magic cosistency error, I'm just a silly sod. "Saved" must be a euphemism for "paid for..." Before this thing is deleted though, could someone PM me what the name of the megapack key .txt file is? It's in the TDU directory, same as that radial file you need to keep deleting. EDTI: No, wait, I have a backup save, it's all cool now, delete this :)
