How do I back up my TDU savegame?

I always copy my Test Drive Unlimited folder from MY Documents to my USB Flashdrive to backup my save data. Am I doing it the right way? my game has been freezing alot lately so I deicided to back up my Savgame incase of the a dreaded corruption. all help would be greatly apprecated thanks:)
