Error 1305 on installation help!!

Hi

 

Recently my pc decided it was gonna corrupt everything so i had to do a system reinstall meaning i lost all my data. I have tried to install TDU again but just over halfway through i get error 1305 saying it can't find something on the hard disk. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you get around it??

if u install that from dvdrom then sometimes old dvd rom has reading problems, but according to that 1305 error that might be caused by some left over files from ur precvious installations, try to remove all the old files and clean up the registry and try it again

How badly scratched is your disk? (TDU disk)

 

Also, as colaboy said, remove the old files from your previous Windows installation.

Right click on the C:\ Drive in "My Computer" and select Properties

Then click on "Disk Cleanup"

Follow the onscreen instructions and look for something called "previous windows installation"

sorry for not responding guys been sulking over TDU so haven't visited for a while. I'll try these things but i think one of the data files may be corrupt. Thanks for your help anyway.
