'Moving wheels': Tutorial [For people without PS]

Tutorial on how to make 'moving wheels' on TDU pictures: Without using Photoshop

Requirements:

 

GIMP

Paint.net

 

Instructions:

 

Open up GIMP, then select the photo you want to use.

Now, open Paint.net, and press 'New'.

 

Go back to gimp, and select the ellipse tool. Draw an ellipse around the rim, making sure it fits.

Copy and paste [Edit>Copy] into PAINT.net [Edit>Paste]

 

In PAINT.net, go to Effects>Blur>Radial Blur

Make sure the black cross is in the centre of the wheel.

Copy + paste the modified wheel back into GIMP.

Then simply use the eraser tool to erase out the black edges of the wheel.

 

After that, you can repeat this for the back wheel.

 

Don't forget to anchor the layer once its in place and finished

Note: I did it in a rush, thats why the edges are.. bad lol
