LED tail lights normally have the LEDs patterned to fit the shape of the tail light; so in the corvette's case, in a circle instead of what appears to be a square section in your version. Also, I don't know if it's the angle or not, but the spacing between the LEDs in your mod doesn't look uniform.

Definitely not. Since the Vette's rearlamps are round, take inspiration from the VW Passat's rearlamps. The LEDs should go in a circle.
