Run TDU2 DVD-nonsteam on Oculus CV1 without to use/buy Vorpx

you need Virtual Desktop(full), or Bigscreen Beta. Not tested on Bigscreen Beta. On Bigscreen Beta (free social app on steam) you need to press F7 or similar for CinemaMode.
Steam and Virtual Desktop(full) were started from beginning. On Virtual Desktop select SBS-half (F6).

1) Download

• ReShade 4.2.1

2) Download

• SuperDepth3d

press clone/download -> zip file

 

3) start ReShade_Setup_4.2.1.exe file

search for your tdu2 installation root.
select testdrive2.exe
next select directx9
dont install online shaders.

4) open Depth3D-master.zip file

change into shaders folder inside .zip file
copy SuperDepth3D.fx to
tdu2 installation root. (testdrive2.exe)

5) start tdu2, on top you should see a menu
press "pos1" or "home" key.

Now some sort of Installation Process start. Press "+" button next to gamepath/ default.ini
type in the textbox whatever you want perhaps "tdu2".
press on finish at the bottom. on my default tdu2 installation it doesn't save the ini. so i have to create each time on start.

select the "superdepth3d" from the list, a checkbox in front will be marked.
you don't need to change anything.
The screen should be splitted , Side-By-Side (could take a moment)

Press "pos1" or "home" key to close the menu

Put on your Oculus. If you see Virtual Desktop alt+tab to tdu2.

now you can enjoy tdu2 with a bit more 3D experience on your Oculus.

 

Some more hints:
Desktop , Ingame Resolution should be the same.
Turn off Fullscreen Anti-Aliasing. Mmao/SSao or similar.
