How do I add my own mp3s to the radio?

Hi, fellas!

 

I read on the official atariforum that someone had their own mp3s running, instead of those weird radiostation-tracks. I have found the mp3-folder in the installationfolder, but i added some of my own mp3s into that folder and nothing happened, anyone knows how to do it?

first you need to create a radio channel in the map "radio" or something like that

and put your mp3's in there

Works better if you create these folders in your savegame folder instead of the main game's directory. The one in your documents, you know.

My Documents > Test Drive Unlimited > savegame > *Your username* > Radio

 

Create a new folder in "Radio" and chuck your songs into that. :D

go to My Docs, TDU folder, savegame, and create a radio folder. You can create up to 4 sub-radios... here's an example:

C:\Documents and Settings\Homework\My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\JonLim\Radio\My playlist

After you make a "Radio station" you have to restart TDU to get it to work. :)

 

Same with whenever you add songs to it.

If you have bought the box version, then you only had to pickup the book and leaf to page 8... :D

Well i have the downloaded LEGAL version, no readme there that i have found though!

well when i do i that i go into my save game then user but there is no radio folder do i make one ??

coz i dont no if im online or not ???? and when i press t nuffin happens

Then that means you're not online.

 

You can tell if you're online when you look at the bottom left of your minimap/GPS, it has a little person and a number next to it. If that number is 1, you're not connected to anyone. If it's more than 1, you are. :D
