mini map problem

Hey guy's

 

Got a quick question:

I was at a friend of mine friday, and played a bit of TDU there, when I noticed his "mini map" was ... gone. The roads where blue (or red when driven) but the terrain wasn't there.

 

Anyone know how that can be, and, more importent, how it can be resolved?

 

(don't say reinstall, 'casue I want to know why it happend and how to solve it!!!)

 

Ow, btw, it's un-modded and the "main map" works.

I have only come across in the ATI CCC (GPU Contorl Pannel). Theres a setting of "map detail" and hwne I turn it down, the minimap goes more pixelated and removes terrain the more the option is turned down. There maybe a similar setting in the nVidia control pannel if he has an nVidia card, instead of ATI.

Hey played around wiht the settings and the maps is back.

It looks a bit grey-isch, but it's back. He'll just have to play around with the settings to get it right I guess :).

Has anyone noticed from the cabin view that the GPS map in the center console is reversed of the mini-map on the left? Or are there cars where its correct?

I just checked it with a couple of cars (some merc's and a nissan), and didn't see anything wrong with it.......
