can't use wasd for tdu?

hi, i am new to tdu. and i was wondering if its possible to use the controls W A S D instead of the arrow keys because i really hate it. Help? whenever i try to assign W it says cannot assign windows key :S

Yes you can :D

Infact i use it

 

You have to go to options/controls and then you have to edit all those controls

 

So i have now this:

 

Accelerate: W

Break: s

Left: A

Right: D

Handbreak: Spacebar

Windows: Shift (left)

 

 

Remember if you wanne change the controls like horn (H) you have to change first the horn control to z or something. And then you can change another control like windows to H

I could never imagine using keys for a drive sim, good luck though, also a pad is much better than a steering wheel, i tried them all.

Okey well thats your opinion. Its really easy to drive with keys, i have a steering wheel but its difficult to drive tricky cars with it. I have also played it with my 360 controller also easy but i think keys are the best and easiest
