  1. I kind of feel the same but then if they get the sounds right I might not mind too much. lol
  2. Ah yeah I knew I read about SMS and their Ferrari title having some info not long ago. This is making me think that 'Ferrari Project' is now Test Drive: Ferrari. :D NoGripRacing Forums - View Single Post - SMS's Community-Funded Race Sim
  3. *scatman john - scatman*

  4. Nope, I tested on myself and have still to decide on what to use. Old vs New type thing. :hmmm:
  5. This all started with me being insane with the reason to get the TV back and now you guys are literally biting at the porcelain to make it happen. Only at TDUCk folks!
  6. LOL no that was SMS's 'Ferrari Project' from 2008 that they were working on. It is minimally possible that if it's true that SMS are developing this game, that their dormant 'Ferrari Project' has in fact become the new Test Drive: Ferrari that we are now officially hearing about. It's also completely possible that TD:Ferrari is a simple remake or arcade style game.
  7. Search a few places and you see bigben being mentioned as the Publisher and Slightly Mad Studios (SMS) as the developer. Now what's interesting about this is SMS when they were Blimey! Games were making a game all about Ferrari and was dubbed the 'Ferrari Project' and in fact the engine it used was the underpinnings of what became NFS Shift. Now before you gag note that SMS had a physics engine ready to go and is well known for it's simulation and handling in it's previous games that most of it's team worked on with the GTR series of games. Now consider their C.A.R.S project which is a Community funded project and you can if this news is true see the possibility that this could bring in that the ill-fated 'Ferrari Project' has become Test Drive: Ferrari and that it will not only have great sim aspects but also cater to the Shift crowd also in it's pick up and crash ways. This is all just conjecture and hopefully more news is forthcoming in the not too distant future but if SMS are actually doing this then it could be very good indeed!! It raises the question of who owns the TEST DRIVE license though and if Atari have sold it or are sub-licensing it to others for a cut of the profits. 'Ferrari Project' from 2008

  11. Avatar Purge has been completed. Feel free to reupload/reuse the avatar you previously had or choose a new one. Note: If you have redone your avatar and it's gone it's because you uploaded during the full reset and removal of the files and data. You can do it now and it will remain. Thanks.
  12. 20min Warning!! Save your avatar now if you want to use it again after the reset. Thanks!
  13. Don't forget this is happening today guys so backup your avatars if you want to keep your current one.
  14. Simple. To prove his loyalty and devotion to the Duck. *guilt trip process started*
  15. It's better for Monday morning my time as if anything goes wrong, it won't be impeding many people. Mind you the tests I've ran with doing it haven't ran into any issues but it's just playing safe is all.
  16. Not posted but definitely seen it as I am looking forward to it. Wish they would bring back some BFMC maps also, that sandy one in the small town with the new destruction would be outstanding!!
  17. Use one or use them all, it's down to you. If you're happy with what you have then stick with it, if you want to see what this one has to offer then by all means try it. It doesn't matter which one you have as you're the only one who sees it anyway.
  18. Wow, the dirt and damage just make it even better as you're not missing anything that you would get with the actual game. Great work!
  19. Amazing work Tool, let the floodgates be opened! :D
  20. To be honest if they are of the "Valve" philosophy of making sure it's done properly and taking as long as need be then fair enough as there is only about 10+ of the final 25 or so at Eden working on TDU2 as far as I know (from TDU2 ex dev). And if Atari has actually done something right and kept or hired competent people to do the work then even better. It's still a waiting game though and unfortunately we're used to it. However with our low expectations you never know they could actually surprise us!
  21. I can not confirm nor deny your statement.
  22. Nothing happened, going to do it on Monday instead as it's quieter.
  23. Aiming high with that snippet as RBR is regarded as the best rally sim available and is constantly updated via it's community and is still played often even today.
