  1. History repeats itself, TDU took 2-3 months to get to the level we know and love today (for the most part), unfortunately a large number of the original TDUteam are not with Eden any more (possibly due to the whole Alone in the Dark thing) so in effect the TDU2team is just like the original TDUteam was, embracing something new and finding out and fixing problems as they arise. Also I don't think they had as much time on this game as people may think. And this whole thing regarding TDUC not bothering with TDU2 was just a joke! :D
  2. 祝你早日康复和高考顺利
  3. There you go mate, updated the first post for you. :)
  4. I'll get the exact movements for you later on today mate. I don't think they'll decrease your tree hitting skill though which should make you happy. :D
  5. Those are some damn fine pics. Niiiice!
  6. Hey guys a few people have asked me about my settings and I figured may as well share the wealth. I was a TDU Hardcore muppet so obviously I prefer the cars not to dart about and for brakes and acceleration not to be instant hence the drastic settings. Anyway oversteer can be hell to get any control over but play with an SLS and enjoy some of the power aways you can do with this after doing a couple of donuts. Throw a Veyron into reverse and see how many donuts you can do before ending up on the dirt or grass. Watch when travelling at high speed that you don't brake and turn, try it and you'll see why. Also watch for braking in the wet as the car can lose it in this. Gradual braking is possible too so give it a go and see what you think. Click Settings for Potatoes * Pad Linearity/Steering Sensitivity: 3 from Left * Speed factor: 3 from Right * Steering damping: Far Right * Deadzone: 2 from Right * Throttle Lin.: 2 from Right * Brake Lin.: Far Right It's not brilliant but for me it feels decent until a hopeful future update. :) This setup works quite nicely with Sport mode.
  7. Just keeping my ear to the ground. :cheeky:
  8. If a game has been built with updates in mind then they can change a lot. Look at Criterion and Burnout Paradise for example. Also I do believe you are right about the time for this game, I don't think it's been 4 years, maybe 2.5-3 years.
  9. It would be the same, people either moan that there is no patch or that the patch should be out by now.
  10. It's been in the "approval process" of Microsoft and Sony since last week. The other testing was internally done by Eden and Atari before being sent to these 2 for approval.
  11. Elder no offence but you say the same thing all the time. This is not a thread about what is wrong with the game it is about what is stopping you from enjoying it compared to TDU. That game had it's fair share of issues also but people played it heavily regardless and that is what I am looking to find out. Once the connectivity and all that is complete we'll also start to collect the issues and such that you and others have mentioned.
  12. Buying the car ingame after buying it with real money as DLC has been about since TDU and plenty of other games do it also. In fact the games that just give you the car tend to get left on the shelf again after a few goes whereas when you have to earn it you enjoy it more. Or maybe that's just me. Again though I do agree with the lack of money making methods in the game as it is.
  13. Car Pack is a pack of only cars, the exploration pack is technically 2 wrecks so not exactly a car pack. I think.
  14. You raise a valid point. :hmmm:
  15. Never heard anyone say that NFS HP's handling was good to be honest. Connection issues and such aren't noted because the patch is "meant" to fix that so I'm concentrating on what is losing people from the actual game even if the servers worked perfectly.
  16. :hmmm: So that makes it all platforms then. I believe this issue is known about, not sure on what you can do at this time unfortunately.
  17. Nice one guys, keep them coming. Remember this isn't a vent or shout thread, this is mainly for those of you who feel TDU2 is lacking and why you feel that compared to the original TDU. Also talking about cars that are missing is a moot point as that's just a personal complaint rather than an actual observation of change which is what I'm after here.
  18. You can go offroad but you have to stick to the track.
  19. Seen a few people mentioning this and was wondering if there is a common denominator into why this is. So if you are genuinely bored with TDU2 already then post why and also what you feel is missing, needs added or done to bring the glory days of TDU back for you in TDU2. Maybe it's simply a matter of just more of the same, who knows but please share your thoughts and of course do it constructively. Thanks. Main Reasons The physics and handling (the roads & environment are great but they feel letdown by the handling) There is a severe lack of events and things to do compared to TDU. OR it feels like it anyway, very repetitive story doesn't help. Lack of a sense of speed. Doing 200mph through traffic doesn't feel as exciting as TDU did. Possibly just the removal of the motion blur (adjustable please if brought back) Feeling that the focus was put mainly on the avatars & customisation (not the cars) rather than the core driving aspect. Fairly difficult to acquire money after you complete the Championships & such. Cops are suicidal and there isn't really much of a chase element felt with the mode itself. (could be amazing with improvements) Cheaters in the CRC
