The car maker Subaru and the anime studio Gainax announced on Monday that they are streaming their entire Hōkago no Pleiades (Afterschool Pleiades/Wish Upon the Pleiades) series of original net anime shorts with official English subtitles. The Pleiades is the English name for the star cluster that the Japanese call "Subaru" — the origin of the car maker's name and six-star logo. The original story's staff includes director Shouji Saeki (Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri, Strike Witches 2 episode storyboarder), concept artist and original character designer Daisuke Kikuchi (Gurren Lagann, Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri), and character designer Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Hanamaru Kindergarten). Also involved are art director Hiroshi Kato (Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Jo/Ha, Gunbuster 2), director of photography Toyonori Yamada (Gurren Lagann, Hanamaru Kindergarten), and color key artist Chie Yoshimura (Chou Gekijouban Keroro Gunso, The Big O). The March issue of Houbunsha's Manga Times Kirara magazine is announcing on Wednesday that kakifly is relaunching his K-ON! comedy manga with a page of new strips with Yui and the other characters this spring. More details will be provided in the next issue of the magazine on March 9. The four-panel comedy manga follows a group of high school girls who form an afterschool rock band. The manga had ended its first run last September. K-ON!!, the second television anime series based on the manga, ran from April to September of last year, and a film is in the works. Yen Press began publishing the manga in North America last November, and Bandai Entertainment licensed the anime. Source:ANN

The Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo has opened a website to confirm that it will premiere Sengoku Otome ~Momoiro Paradox~ (Warring-States Era Maidens ~Pink Paradox~), a television anime adaptation of Heiwa's Sengoku Otome pachinko game, on April 4 at 2:00 a.m. The original 2008 game re-imagines Japan's tumultuous sengoku jidai (Era of Warring States) with all of the warriors as female characters. In the story, a modern middle school girl named Hideyoshi (Rina Hidaka) is suddenly transported to a mysterious land where she meets Oda Nobunaga (Megumi Toyoguchi), Akechi Mitsuhide (Eri Kitamura), Data Masamune (Yuka Hirata), Imagawa Yoshimoto (Rei Mochizuki), Tokugawa Ieyasu (Satomi Akesaka), Takeda Shingen (Sachi Kokuryu), Uesugi Kenshin (Mariya Ise), and other sengoku warriors. Nobunaga is assembling the "legendary crimson armor" to unify all of the people of the land. Hideki Okamoto (D.C. II: Da Capo II, Nagasarete Airantou) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment, and Touko Machida (Ōkamikakushi, GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class, Lucky Star) is supervising the scripts. Koji Yamakawa (chief animation director of Strike Witches, Strike Witches 2) is adapting Shirogumi's original game designs and overseeing the animation process. There won't be many actual stores that will have it out as they will be somewhat grounded into the release date, online retailers are a different matter though, they have to send early to hit release so get some leeway.

It's usually free, not heard of a cost being required unless you were after another serial ie another game in effect. I believe this question is being looked at though so hopefully an answer before the release will be coming.

Turn 10 is M$ so it's in their nature to screw over their customers. They announced the F458 as DLC 3 weeks before the game came out remember and also don't forget the whole only matchmaking crap that only came to light when people bought the game.
