  1. The same video is also being shown at this week's Comic Market 79 event in Tokyo. The anime will premiere in Japan next spring. [smg id=324 type=av] The official website for the television anime adaptation of Mitsuba and Ichijinsha's 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku (Health and Physical Education for 30-Year-Olds) also began streaming a 112-second promotional video off YouTube on Tuesday. The guide is aimed at men in their 30s who have not experienced romance or sex with women yet. The anime will premiere next April. [smg id=325 type=av] Source:ANN
  2. As mellors said it doesn't matter if you did this or whether the forum did it, it's against the rules either way.
  3. The game maker Sammy announced via a promotional video at its Comic Market booth this week that it is planning new anime projects for its Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel magical girl slot machine game franchise in 2011. The promotional video revealed that the web anime adaptation that was announced a year ago will now be an original video anime (OVA) project. The promotional video then revealed that a "[__] anime adaptation has been green-lit!!" (The video deliberately obscures the first part of the announcement.) J.C. Staff will be producing the animation. The video also announced that a new game and manga is in the works for next year. The game from the developer Alchemist and writer/director Kiichi Kanō will feature an all-new story with previously seen characters and new characters. Kumi Horii (Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka, Student Council's Discretion) is designing the characters, and Studio Gokumi (A Channel, Koe de Oshigoto!) is producing the in-game footage. The musical artist group "ave;new project" is handling the theme song. The artist Koari will launch the franchise's second manga in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp Ace magazine this spring. Kaitō Tenshi Twin Angel began as a pachisuro (pachinko-parlor slot machine) game with Yukari Tamura and Mamiko Noto as Haruka "Red Angel" Minazuki and Aoi "Blue Angel" Kannazuki. It already spawned a manga in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in 2007 and a two-volume video anime series in 2008. [smg id=323 type=av] Source:ANN
  4. You are misreading what I have said though I can see how a non-native English speaker could see it that way. 1) You get a free code for the car 2) Enter code and the car appears in a showroom 3) You can view and test drive this car 4) You can buy this car with ingame currency compared to 1) You purchase a DLC 2) The car(s) are put in their showrooms 3) You can view and test drive these cars 4) You can buy these cars with ingame currency The FREE part I was talking about was in getting the car into your game, not getting the car from the showroom to your garage.
  5. Well those who pre-order get access to the car(s) and the ability to buy them ingame for free compared to those who don't. If you didn't pre-order then you may get the chance to gain access to them via a free or premium DLC after at least 60 days. The Casino pre-order gives you the Casino DLC for free, however whether you got it for free or paid for it doesn't matter, you will still be able to win the 2 cars within the Casino. (Audi and Spyker)
  6. Well if you count the non-preorder cars we know of then there's over 90 albeit including the 2 cop variants of the Charger and Viper. Not knowing exactly which of the Veyrons are pre-order or are actually included also makes the 91 probable but again this probably includes the 2 cop variants being counted as separate vehicles.
  7. Haha that's nice; We won't be found at downmarket retailers, oh no not us we only like our publications to be displayed and sold by upper market elite establishments. Keeps the riff raff and their grubby fingers off our pages you see. Note: Read in a pure toff nosed accent for best effect :D
  8. No you have it correct and just to reiterate, the plan is for the pre-order cars to be available at some point after at least 60 days post release.
  9. You've just asked him the question he has asked. You wanna drive cars? Drive real cars! I win!* :nnnn: *maybe
  10. Baldy will know that one Mellors as he listened to at least 1 checking out some cracking tunes in the process.
  11. I wish. :( Hogmanay is a'coming though!

  12. Oh man that second pic is stunning. Thanks!

  13. Perhaps this is done for the preview build so that those playing can experience the full cycles as you know what some reviewers are like, 1-2 hours and they're done. You do get some decent ones sure but they are usually the minority. As for the handling without knowing what control system they were using and also any tweaks to the settings it's hard to gauge how crap or horrid the handling is from vids. I can't see this game being screwed up in the core areas but then hey these things happen and whoever makes the decision for it needs kicked in the shins repeatedly if it turns out to be the case.

  19. The Japanese media companies Kadokawa and ANIMATE announced a new event called Anime Contents Expo, which will be held at the Makuhari Messe event center in Chiba, Japan from March 26 to 27 of next year. That weekend is when the two public days of Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) have already been scheduled. The companies in the new event's executive committee include Aniplex, ANIMATE, Kadokawa Shoten, King Records, Geneon Universal Entertainment Japan, Frontier Works, Marvelous Entertainment, and Media Factory. The committee cited Tokyo's recently passed amendment to its Youth Healthy Development Ordinance as the reason for boycotting TAF and holding a new event. The amendment will expand the number of manga and anime that fall under "harmful publications," the legal category of works that must not be sold or rented to people under the age of 18. The new event's executive committee noted that it supports The Japan Cartoonist Association, Copyright Network for Comic Authors in the 21st Century, Manga Japan, Comic 10-Shakai, and Association of Japanese Animations in their opposition to the amendment. Comic 10-Shakai, a industry group of 10 manga publishers including Kadokawa Shoten, had already announced its plans to boycott TAF next year. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is part of TAF's executive committee, and Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara also serves as the chairperson of that committee. Ishihara was a leading advocate of a similar earlier youth ordinance amendment bill that was rejected in June, and he pushed the recent amendment that did pass. After various organizations pulled out of TAF, the organizers of the new event said that they searched for another venue where they can announce and promote new works that will debut next spring and summer. More details about Anime Contents Expo will be provided starting in January. Makuhari Messe is the home of such events as Tokyo Game Show (TGS) and Shueisha's Jump Festa. It was also the former home of Comic Market before that dōjinshi event moved to Tokyo Big Sight. Even though Makuhari Messe hosts TGS, the center is actually outside Tokyo in the prefecture immediately east of the metropolis. Source:ANN
  20. The official website for the television anime adaptation of Lim Dal-Young and Kim Kwang-Hyun's Freezing manga began streaming its third 105-second promotional video on Sunday. The story revolves around Kazuya, a boy who lost his sister in humankind's fight against beings from another dimension. He enrolls in Genetics, a military academy for combat training against the dimensional beings. There, a group of girls known as "Pandora" prepare to fight the unknown enemy. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 8. [smg id=307 type=av] The Cinema Today website began streaming a 45-second trailer for the fifth Broken Blade (Break Blade) film on Sunday. Flex Comix publishes the manga in Japan, while CMX Manga published three manga volumes in North America before DC Comics shut down the imprint this year. The fifth film will open in Japan on January 22. [smg id=308 type=av] Source:ANN
  21. Manga creator Takeshi Nogami (Sailor-fuku to Jūsensha, Panzer fräulein ALTESEISEN), anime writer and setting advisor Takaaki Suzuki (Strike Witches, Last Exile), and translator Dan Kanemitsu (new Evangelion films, Love Hina) are collaborating on a dōjinshi (self-published work) about the recently passed amendment to Tokyo's Youth Healthy Development Ordinance. Saru Demo Wakaru To-Jōrei Taisaku ~Monkey Business~ (An Idiot's Guide to Tokyo's Harmful Books Regulation) will be available at Comic Market 79 on December 31 at the Tokyo Big Sight event complex. The Japanese/English book will also be available from Amazon Japan. The current ordinance already prevents the sale and renting of "harmful publications" — materials that are "sexually stimulating, encourages cruelty, and/or may compel suicide or criminal behavior" — to people under the age of 18. Tokyo's Bill 156 will expand the definition of "harmful publications"; the industry will now regulate "manga, anime, and other images" that "unjustifiably glorify or exaggerate" certain sexual or pseudo sexual acts. The government can also directly regulate these images if the depicted acts are also "considered to be excessively disrupting of social order" such as rape. The upcoming dōjinshi will feature manga parodying the amendment along with English translations of the dialogue. There are also Japanese essays for which Kanemitsu is translating into English online. The creators encourage readers to share the book, as long as it is done noncommercially. The dōjinshi's three authors have previously collaborated on a series of dōjinshi about Strike Witches. All three also actively opposed Bill 156 and a similar earlier bill that the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly rejected in June. The dōjinshi's Japanese title, which can roughly be translated as "Even a Monkey Can Understand the Opposition to Tokyo's Ordinance," is a reference to Kentaro Takekuma and Koji Aihara's insider's guide to the manga industry, Saru demo Kakeru Manga Kyōshitsu (Even A Monkey Can Draw Manga). Update: The number of the next Comic Market has been corrected. Kanemitsu notes that the dōjinshi, like many others, is all-ages. It will be available in Japan at Tora no Ana, Comic Zin, and other dōjinshi retailers after Comic Market. Source:ANN
