  1. I don't think I would ever like to see Forza go to a GT-style release schedule. GT stagnated for ages, never really improving or adding what their fans wanted, but then Forza came around, and the bar was raised. Sure GT had the looks, the style and its photo mode but step back from that and it was still the same as it's always been. GT, PD and Kaz especially are arrogant in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I really admire the beauty and craft that goes into a Gran Turismo, but we're nearing the 20th anniversary of the series and it's only now slowly starting to embrace what its competitors have been doing for a while. I think Sony needs to rein PD and co in a bit personally.
  2. Yes and no. It's a 2-year development for each of the Forza games and they outsource on a grand scale I believe so getting these older models up to scratch shouldn't be that much of an issue. They just seem to prefer to leave them alone for some reason. :hmmm:
  3. There's probably a hefty download awaiting you then Loz.
  4. I kind of noticed that myself watching my brother when he was playing. There seems to be a decent balance between the way to earn and the amount, compared to the time required to do so. Basically if you play the game then you can make good money. And with all the double money bonus periods they frequently have, it's even better. Not buying the latest content on day one seems to make sense too as discounts are routinely offered on them after a few weeks.
  5. A bit of GTA Online, helping my kid bro beat some heist missions and win a race or two. #Hardcore
  6. I quite like the older versions but their models could be better. It wouldn't hurt to get some other specs like those you mentioned though.
  7. Do you think you would play it as much if the updates were premium DLC instead? Has Rockstar shown that this is the way it should be done: nickel and dime the players afterwards rather than charging them to access in the first place?
  8. Yeah some of those older models are looking a bit out of sorts these days.
  9. After hearing how much Take-Two are in love with GTA Online because of the amount of money it brings in, and the ever flowing stream of updates, content and mods that's available for it now and those that will continue to release for it. I was wondering if you guys still play it? I do enjoy it and I know the grind can be tedious but watching my kid brother on his Xbox One on it, I realised that there is a lot of game here for the money. And there are plenty of ways to make money in it too. It is obvious that it's made that bit more uneasy and requires some time (but not as much as some would make you think) compared to just splurging on those Shark cards, but I have to say I do like it, however I worry about future Rockstar games because of its success. :susp: What about you? Do you feel the game is pay to win? Do you enjoy it, hate it, or maybe even wish it was never created?
  10. Nice looking Impreza there Des. Can't beat the classic blue and gold combo!
  11. No Toyota Production Cars In Forza 7! There will be no Toyota production cars in Forza Motorsport 7! As unbelievable as that sounds it has been officially confirmed by Turn 10 community manager, Brian Ekberg, in the latest ‘Week in Review’ posted on the official website. Everyday and fan favourites such as the Supra, AE86, Celica, classic 2000 GT and more that have appeared in previous games, will not be in Forza 7. Toyota badged cars are not completely gone however, there will still be the race cars, along with the Hilux Arctic Truck that former Top Gear duo Clarkson and May got to play with in Iceland. Unfortunately it isn’t always possible to align the interests of fans and the interests of our manufacturing partners. As a result, production Toyota vehicles are not represented in Forza 7. We’re as disappointed as you are about this news and, while we hope to bring Toyota production vehicles back to Forza games in the future, it is worth noting that a small number of Toyota race cars will be included in the game. Look for that list in a future edition of the Forza Garage. The above seems to indicate that Toyota and Turn 10 couldn’t come to an agreement, in what way, we can only guess, as the Japanese maker’s cars have featured in past games, where they’ve been able to be kitted out, customised and painted in the livery editor. Whatever the reason, let’s just hope it’s not because of another company grabbing them in some sort of exclusive licensing. (please let’s not see any of that again!) 12. Do you do adventurous activities that make this really worth having or do you just like the hardcore look of it? :)
  13. Nice wee runabout that mate, good mileage for the year too. (I'm estimating with it being a 206) Those are quite fun to drive and very flingable! :p
  14. [HEADLINE]Gear.Club Unlimited[/HEADLINE] Eden Games have been enjoying the success of their mobile racing game Gear.Club for a good while, but now the former V-Rally, NFS Porsche Unleashed and Test Drive Unlimited developers are dipping their toes back into console waters by bringing Gear.Club Unlimited (catchy name!) to the Nintendo Switch. This will be the first racing game on the Switch and so it certainly has a great chance of being popular with owners who are ready to partake in some racing action on the system. Glad to see the team getting back into it.
  15. The Ferrari trailer is out for Project CARS 2 and I really enjoyed watching it as even though it might be only 10 models, most of them are such icons and have become stables (hur hur) in the marque's history. I could live without the 488 duo but the others are like . Awesome to see the F333 back!
  16. New videos from PlayStation access. PCGames continue their looks at the cars, this time from Europe and Asia,
  17. The bandwidth friendly script that replaces YouTube videos with the thumbnail image instead does so at a fixed size, and so the image gets cropped on smaller devices. A simple click on it will load the video. I have removed that script now so now they will load properly but will eat your bandwidth. Enjoy. In future Ry please bring this thing up in the appropriate section instead of crap-posting. Thanks.
  18. Hi there Kornel, welcome to the :duck: ! We'll tolerate your appreciation of TDU2. :p
  19. The CARS movies are quite fun to watch and if you know a bit more than your typical person there are some nice easter eggs hidden in amongst them. Finished Fargo series 3 last night, not as bold as the previous two but a good watch and plenty to keep you glued to the screen.
  20. Going to be fun to watch what appears on this 'Base' over the years cal, knowing how you flip and flop on cars.
  21. Nice one cal, moving up... erm staying level in the world I see mate. :cheeky: Why does the side door need 4 keys???? :susp:
  22. Ah, but there was clearly a comma between the two words. ;) #rookiemistake
  23. I thought you had labelled this wrong when the last image showed as I thought it was actually an Audi. :oook:
  24. I finally saw what this was all about and I applaud Hamilton for excelling in this sportsmanship. He asked to be let pass to do something on the proviso that he would pass Raikonnen on which he never managed to do, and so kept to the gentleman's agreement that he entered with Bottas. If he loses the Championship by those points then fair enough but, I think he will look back and still believe he did the right thing should that happen.
