Brilliant end to the series and all the others like the Cupra Cup and Carrera Cup. Congrats to Fabrizio Giovannardi in retaining the Drivers Championship and also to Vauxhall for winning the team and manufacturers Championships. Big congrats to Team RAC in winning the Independents class and also huge respect to Mat Jackson for his 2 wins and stealing 2nd place in the Drivers Championship at the death! And also to Team Motorbase for giving a good show with their BMW's and for getting their first 2 drivers on the podium, I'm sure a 1-2 for those guys isn't far away. Shame Seat are leaving the BTCC and Motor racing but it was interesting to hear Honda and others may be bringing in some works team themselves including perhaps a Works BMW team which would be a great battle against Vauxhall. Vauxhall's dominance must want to be stopped by someone and it would be great for the series to have more top teams vying for the win. Can't wait for 2009 to see what teams we will be watching.

Final races today at Brands Hatch and Fabrizio Giovannardi looks to be retaining his Championship if he can finish in his races tomorrow. Jason Plato could do it but it would take something magical and unfortunate to plague Vauxhall for the Seats to win. ITV 11:30 the action starts, should be a brilliant end to the season not just for the Drivers Championship but also the Independents which is still open to a fair few drivers!! I'll definitely be watching, how about you?

Yep it sure looks like Speedtouch spotted the Gran Turismo boys doing the GT Academy and maybe testing the CTR3 for it's inclusion in GT5 ? :shocked:

Matt I actually did a video with that song ages ago, RUF Drift Uncut, it was really popular too though the little kiddies always messaged me for a challenge and was surprised to hear I didn't like drifting much. lol Using that song also got the usual "gay", "shhhh music" etc... If you don't use what people like they shout at you for it. Thanks for the comment though mate and I have been considering doing a sort of rendezvous video through the main city with the bumper view and nothing on screen.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH guys leave him alone!! Seriously I know about 4 people who can live TDU in real life and they still play the game because they can do things in game they can't do in real life. If it is his car and tbh I believe it is due to the fact the pics he posted are in different locations and he is not getting completely snappy or spouting off other cars he owns plus try searching for White Audi R8 pics, you won't find any of the pics he posted. So please yes I know people on the internet lie and unfortunately when real owners do appear they always have to go through a bunch of prove it's but even if they are lying or they are genuine (which shows up faster than them being found out) what does it matter to this topic?! It's about making a decent looking replica of an Audi R8 in TDU, if anyone can provide intimate shots of the car in question to help make the most accurate possible then why bother about such trivial things as to if someone is lying or not. Lighten up guys and Redokee if that car is yours which I believe it is, nice one and all the best! One note though, please refrain from swearing in your posts, we don't like it here due to the age group of our visitors. Thanks! :D

P-Zero does mean something in Lambos case, look at the pics of their standard cars, you'll notice a distinct lack of coloured logos on the wheels. [+] Looking on the Trademark website I found out that Lambo has registered the name Urus back in July this year and also late last year Murcielago Superleggera was also registered. The Urus sounds promising though whatever that is. SV has been updated in it's registration as of 12th August 2008 also!

@Mb: New world could be going back to the old for Lambo as in lightweight and RWD whereas Lambo have been mostly safe with AWD. @Baxie: I saw that on another forum, looks like quite a departure for Citroen but still can't wait to see it!!

There are certain regions that are allowing the discussion of mods on Atari sites, Atari US allow it as do Atari Germany, not sure about the others though. I have noticed though that a lot more tdu videos are appearing on youtube again so maybe modding has put it above the radar again. Just need to wait and see what happens.

Sure, I have sent an email asking for clarification anyway, and I would just like to say that keeping these sort of edits to offline only with no means of disturbance to those online would be the best way to go. If it contributes to giving someone an unfair advantage then use your own judgement and think is it actually benefiting the game or just the player. If that makes sense?

tool I have to commend you for your suggestion and also your resources to show how you would like it to happen. I have a section like this planned and in the progress of being scripted now in fact as when modding started to take off I figured this has to be incorporated into the main site and it will be. I have also been playing around with having vB data access on the main site to help with certain things and the testing is hit and miss but I'm getting there. Not sure about the incorporating right on the forum homepage mind you but I'll do some offsite testing and see what works well. Again though, outstanding suggestion with clear description and images to show your idea off well.
