  1. Actually I think it's counting the ad revenue from what it would estimate to be associated with the stats it records.
  2. The ads uotop are our only form of revenue being generated on the site apart of course from those who are generous enough to donate and with us averaging 150-200,000 hits a day and last month tipping the 4,000,000 hits and 25,000 visits markers. It's a very interesting time for us. Not to mention in the middle of this month I have a meeting I'm not looking forward to but such is life, others have it much worse so I don't complain. :D
  3. Wow, nice find, never thought we would be that amount and lmao $10 ad revenue, yeah right I wish.
  4. I thought you just deleted a CDKey.txt file somewhere and the game will ask for the code again? Wait Activation code as in for the game or the Megapack.
  5. For the carpack you don't enter your TDU serial, you enter the Multiplayer Key that will be shown to you on purchase and emailed to you also.
  6. Good tip, never thought about that actually. The small cloths are great for the corners of the TV also though there will always be a minute amount you can never get.
  7. Yep that's right, that's your anti-static wipe plus for best results wipe the screen in a circular motion, don't know why but this is what all the reps told me, something to do with avoiding stuck and dead pixels. :oook: BTW if you have a PSP I find using the small cloth you got with that brilliant for the surrounding. Make sure you put Auto-Volume on, god I love that option! Classy little turn on turn off tune also.
  8. Dusting can be a pain and you will feel the room it's in heat-up as they do generate a fair bit of heat but in the end just use anti-static wipes plus screen wipes to keep the screen clean and you're sorted.
  9. I really want Kubica to do well in this race, Ferrari will probably win and hopefully it's Massa as that wee man is likeable. Also would like to see Sutil get in the top 8 and also see the Red Bull's get some points.
  10. Wow tough week, it's between 3 people for my choice but I can't really decide who out of those 3 to go for. :eek_blue:
  11. If it's VM you're with then I think they are 768 upload mate.
  12. Is this the RUF's that are doing this?
  13. I've had a Samsung LCD for over 2 years and I love it, never going to buy anything but Samsung from now on, they were the ones along with LG who made LCD technology more reliable and brought the costs right down. I also am currently paying £4 a month to protect it and I will get New for Old should anything happen to it next year! :D Very nice TV there Nodz, the Samsungs just go from strength to strength!
  14. RIP, your crazy and mental cars brought much joy to many as well as a hell of a lot of fear. TVR's were not a car you could just drive, you had to survive the drive! Great man, great car, just great. I wonder if he's speeding through the pearly gates backwards on fire though?! :D
  15. LMAO I love it that this makes sense. :D
  16. What's the TheScottishSpotter got to do with that area ? :D
  17. Wow 2Mb+ download, who are you with mellors? Ah O2 it seems. In fact have a BT line get O2 guys: http://www.broadbandchoice.co.uk/compare/broadband-deals/20mb-plus-broadband.html
  18. I agree, if you want to find out nothing about your connection. That site shows your speed at the very split second it starts downloading resulting in a very high result, also high speeds will be shown afterwards due to the caching. Speedtest.net and that new place I found are the best choices imo. There is another text based one that is very accurate but I can't remember where it is. Honestly though the best way to test your speed is to download a relatively large file from a fast server. A good example is where VM ask you to try when you're having issues: http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com When your download speed starts to stable, note it then multiply it by 8 and there you have a very close to actual. So cmm's 80Kb/s a second is 600Kb or a 512Kb perhaps. Kaching ! 1186 * 8 = 9488 (10Mb)
  19. Yes S71NG3R is quite the expert in that field. :D *you know you walked him right into that one*
  20. Phew I thought you were talking about Tranny's there mate. Something for the weekend indeed ....as baldred knows all too well ;) ! Well if 1649 people want it then I'll do it. No less though!
  21. Speedtest is very popular though meaning it can actually be slower than your actual.
  22. http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and I selected New York being it's on the East Coast and thus closest to us. Also if your area has been completed make sure you unplug your modem for 30 seconds to reboot it and then goto http://192.168.100.1 and then click on Login, follow the standard instructions then click Operation Config to see what you are connected to the UBR at. Oops sorry it's only L that's being upgraded at the moment. XL is due for an upgrade at the end of 2008/start 2009.
  23. Nope not the drivel that EA do nowadays, no I'm talking about my broadband speed, Virgin Media announced last year they were implementing upgrades to their L customers which started in January. Well they've finally done my area and I have to say they did a good job !!
  24. Been considering a Tech Support forum actually.
