How many times have you been wandering about and seen someone sitting down or been at the edge of a pier or something and just wanted to sit your character down? Alright maybe not that much but would it not be cool if you could just take a break and sit down, think like you hold X (X360) and your character will sit down or sit on the edge of a ledge. Consider being at the top of a building and just sitting on the ledge watching what's going on below you and stuff like that. Just a small detail that I'm surprised this game doesn't do. :eek_blue:

Hmm actually if you think about it this is actually smart and cunning by Rockstar as it stops piracy on the PC dead. Think about it, Rockstar release GTA IV on the PS3 and Xbox 360, now 95-98% of these are going to be genuine sales as modding results in a definite lacking of online play which a lot of people won't want to miss and many people want GTA IV regardless of how much a gamer they are so these sales are actual boxed copies. Now think if some of these people who bought on the consoles have PC's and would have just download the game as it's basically the same as what you'll get on the consoles anyway, hypothetically imagine that to be about 5-10% of lost sales and what with predictions of 6m+ sales that's a big amount and big money too. I wouldn't be surprised to see the PC version about 6-9 months after the original launch and it will more than likely either have the exclusive 360 content included or have it's own additional chapters to, in a way, say sorry for the wait. But if this works out well I would expect to see more developers and publishers going this way, maybe it's not even intentional and I've stumbled on something that many people would hate (pirates and legit PC players) but the Game Companies would love ! :D :oook: :twisted: :eek_blue:

I would be surprised if there isn't 2 endings tbh or more. Some of the paths you choose would seem pretty stupid to end up at the same place as it would make it that no matter what you did you always arrive at the same conclusion so saving everyone or killing them all would be a bit redundant in that aspect, don't you think?

BTW wait till you see what happens to Manny! Get yourself some armour, an AK-47 and the sub-machine gun. Remember you can zoom (click the RS) into targets to get a better shot with most of the guns.

Guys don't do what I've been doing and shooting the little blue person icon people (they show on the map) as they are side missions not drug dealers like I thought. lol

This one cop did yeah, I turned the corner and heard the little siren and saw a black car in front of the cop who had his lights on which I never saw before unless they were after me or a fight was happening. So I stopped and watched as the guy in the black car waited in his car for the cop to get out of his, the cop then walked up to the window, put his arm on the top of the car and leaned in to speak to the driver. He then said "Don't you think you were a little wreckless there?" or something like that then walked away from the car and back into his own and drove off. Car damage is really good, everything can be destroyed, shot or jumped on, it's amazing what NaturalMotion's euphoria physics engine brings and adds to the game!

I laughed at this: * Police will pull over wreckless AI drivers, get out their car, walk upto the window and warn the driver.

Just make sure you hold the lock on and cover everywhere until you get to the front door then just bolt, grab a truck or car then jump to map and mark a spray shop thus you can exit the place easier than going for yourself and finally drive fast and through traffic, it's the helo that usually keeps tabs on you the most.

What age are you? And to be honest it's not the violence that would stop me letting kids play this but the language, everything is used in this game and I mean everything. You hear it when out on the street, standing still, in missions, in the taxi, basically all over. The violence isn't that much and frankly it's as violent as YOU make it. You can shoot everything that moves but unlike previous GTA's, the police etc will not be easy to escape if you do as they are very ruthless and when SWAT and beyond arrive they are accurate and constant and will take you out. Remember there is prostitutes, drinking, drugs, guns, killing etc so this game is not for the young uns, sure you can say that you won't be bothered by it and last time I checked despite the 10 years of GTA (man the first was great!) noone as far as I know has Rocket Launched a bus (though you can't lie and say you've never thought about it jokingly). I would say 15 and up would be (hopefully) mature for it, and as for gore that's not the core component, the core aspect is that it is you playing as Niko that does all of the actions onscreen. Anyone who can't make the distinction between fantasy and reality has a screw loose anyway and would snap with a tv show (Dexter?), Movie (Clockwork Orange, Scarface etc?) so to say the game might make you a psycho is complete rubbish, but the content of the game does warrant the rating.

* Bailing out of a high-speed jeep that's on fire only to fall right in front of another car coming the opposite way. ie instant death. :D

I'm now on the 3rd island ! And I am liking the clothes though it may just be me but are the cops a lot harder to lose now?

How about your car actually gets dirty ! Not to mention the car does get washed as you say as it's removed progressively which actually makes it look fairly realistic. I always wonder though what happens if you take a stolen car ala smashed on window. lol

Post in here little details and fun things you have found out in GTA IV. * You can hang from the side of the Bin Lorries (the Garbage Disposal) * Crashing into the Bin Lorry makes the Binmen very angry, it's funny to call the police before you hit their truck and then you watch them get arrested when they attack you just as the police arrive * Start a fight then call the police, funny to watch the other person getting busted * Grab a cop car and pull over people That's all for now!

I just had a very very weird glitch when playing Pool. When it's your opponenets shot keep pressing A to skip it and if you do it right the camera will jump into another building that hasn't loaded and show nothing yet you still play pool???? lol I still won as well somehow. Damn I never knew about that one, in fact I don't really bother with achievements but that's a nice one to have, I can usually do well against a chase though that damn chopper always gets a lucky potshot at me usually. BTW I am putting GTA IV vids on my youtube but due to the nature of the content I won't be linking them.

Fun with a Cab! Whistle a cab on one of the other islands where to access your destination you need to pass through the toll and get the guy to 'Hurry' by pressing 'X' (360) and watch in Cinematic mode and when he crashes through the toll you'll have a police chase that's worth watching, just make sure if he gets boxed in or rolls it you bail quickly. :D

I've seen that before, lol. There's some stupider ones around also, I'll let you find them though, one in particular involves a Raging Bull. ;)
