    He never really caused me much issue though, and I find the near-instant drop-off not exactly close to you quite annoying now. Like the new "Passengers" option for Vehicle Access and "Join Contact Mission" on the phone though. Still get in stupid LTS and Team v Team at times though.

    It's classy looking that's about it. The lack of new garages or homes to keep extra vehicles in is stopping me really from going for it. ... also I MISS THE MECHANIC!! :cry:

    That car is going to be a bit of a grasp to get, need to get on the missions with my female character tonight me thinks! Wish I'd piled my new characters garage full of Adders now when I had the billions.

    There's honestly no reason that EA couldn't have the main NFS and two spin-offs for circuit and street racing if they wanted it. Keep NFS cars vs cops and it's a no brainer! Once they lose the exclusivity of the Porsche license things will have to change.

    The screengrabs I posted were from the site last week and the holding page was up a couple of days after but you were still able to check it out via Google's cache. Believe me that is what that site had on it this time last week. :D Looks like a DNS thing, basically you may see the domain placeholder or the site in the screengrab I posted in the article. In fact Google still has the old page text in it's search listing. What's interesting is it looks like the http://www.eden-games.com domain is going through some change too.

    That's my Disqus account, Diablo wasn't available unfortunately. Still playing with ideas about the whole commenting system to be honest, I did come across something that appears to integrate vB posts as WP comments so may see about testing that for the new look.

    Yeah I published it in November as I was working hard on getting the backend all upgraded and updated to the latest version which put me behind a fair bit unfortunately.

    Well with the next consoles Open World's is the thing that a lot of devs are playing with so perhaps this will mean more of these in the racing genre? If Eden Studios are starting afresh though then we're a good 3-5 years away from any release. It would be good to hear what they are planning on working on though some time this year as yes most announcements are 6-12 months these days but look at CyberPunk 2077, that was announced before it even had a team to make it! They also need to work more on their hyping and get a twitter and facebook to get people talking.

    This is great guys! I really appreciate how many of you are wanting to do this and willing to give it a go. The real-life car stuff is very welcome and reports about events even more so as we love cars as well as the games that have them. We are turboduck of course so a bit of the random will also show up (see the Soup post for example!) and I'm absolutely fine with that. As I mentioned earlier everyone will have their pieces checked before publishing anyway so it's mainly the content piece and the media that you need to make sure to get and we can work on the formatting or such afterwards, then as you get more comfortable with it we can look into allowing you to author your own stuff too. And Clarence there is a good amount of people looking for NASCAR stuff, so that is very welcome indeed! I'll update the Guide today and give some of you a shot so you can look around and have a play with how it works. :gdance:

    This is downright sickening and hopefully this will make the big news and show people what these companies are really like. Everyone should start creating games based on Candy and Sweets just to piss these arses off. Creator of a game called CandySwipe back in 2010 writes an open-letter to King.com as basically they are trying to eradicate all competition by any means possible.     Basically if you have an interest in a game then it's down to you to follow the outlets where the media and news regarding it will be best found and to post about it as quickly as you can, not saying it has to be instant but within 12-48 hours for sure. It's also about being able to put you in touch with the proper contacts resulting in you gaining access to the actual press media and such making posting about these things even easier. We are a gaming community that follows driving and racing games closely so an interest in what you are writing about is obviously expected but you don't have to be fanatical about it. Not to mention guys, if some of the burden is taken off me then I can fill-in when you guys aren't available anyway as well as approach some other ideas I've been tossing in my head. :D

    @Milli: You weren't ignored, show me some of your writing and I'll take a look. @Clarence: Did you not fancy the NASCAR games? I may have a contact for those who can send you the proper stuff making it easier to write about and post the media. Also you wanted GTA V but seemed to leave that aside. :(

    Ry posts a lot of the months happenings but there is obviously more. Also it's typically easy to see what should and what should not be posted on WMD forums. Not to mention your article would need to be approved first before Publishing until you get the swing of things and are able to be let off on your own. :cool:

    Everyone apart from the 3 of 1 me and Ry and Loz have been removed from being able to write at this time. If you feel you can think of something that you would like to write about then by all means I'm all ears! Basically it comes down to what do you play right now and what are you looking forward to?
