GRID is a joke of a game imo, I hate remembering that this is the way the ToCA series went. Only 2 things I liked about it and they're not even close to even making me consider buying. * Graphics are exceptional * Crashes and damage are amazing The rest is complete dross though. Again imo but then I preferred ToCA (apart from the 3rd where they used fake liveries) to the lot of them anyway.

Thanks. If you got GTA IV on anything seriously grab a bus and go nuts on 3+ stars. Over the bridges there are roadblocks and such so plenty of carnage to be done. :D

You're not alone in that Pres, only bit that made me smile was the Shaft sounding cop at 1:03, sounds like he's having a really laid back pursuit or something.

I wanted mine because it's an R8. And due to the fact I effectively finished the game with only 190 career races meant I spent a while over the period of a week getting the other 160 races, mostly done via highway races. I think to be honest the fact every race is about 3mins, the AI is sooo bendy in the rubber band effect and the traffic is well against you makes it really frustrating. One thing I hated was if you were in front the CPU seemed to precisely throw traffic at you to make you crash hard, yet when you fell behind because of this the CPU still did the same meaning catching up like the CPU allows itself to do to you was virtually impossible as the CPU just wants to win and keep you behind BUT not by beating you by racing but by hindering you with amazingly well placed traffic.

I usually tank them in my MV, nothing can touch it without getting in it's slipstream if the race is too the unofficial finish at the lights I mean. Crashing into the wall at the end will result in a Saleen and 'Egg getting it. In a way it's kind of annoying though that under all that power the bike doesn't pull up. :(

Good vid Iced though I feel you missed one amazing chance right at the end with that guy flying into the oncoming car by switching to the interior of that car and slowmo'ing it just before he hit. Also I liked the way you did the - what I'm guessing was - CCTV camera effect on the highway too.

I find it funny when people say they can drift on MCLA, it's usually a powerover or a powerslide, there's no real method of drifting in this game due to the default TC that's on in every car. In fact I think you can actually do more of a drift with a bike than you can with a car if you face against a car and then just hit the throttle and let go. I hate that drifting has to come into every bloody game with cars, it's killing the racing game, Forza Motorspot in particular and this is why I can't wait for Race Pro.

That would be an interesting vehicle to see on TDU.

Clarkson did have some fair points and reading the comments from americans on autoblog who think Clarkson is only against it because it's america are idiots! As if they had bothered to watch the last few Top Gears he is also against the bailout of any car company even those in Britain. Like so many people have been saying Bankruptcy is a good thing for big multi-nationals as it means they start fresh, renogotiate all contracts with suppliers etc and can get back on their feet rather than just incurring huge loans that will put them even more in debt resulting in the Bankruptcy that will kill them off, and not the one they can clean the slate and get back on their feet.
