  1. They've promised "over 350" vehicles, so how many do we have so far?
  2. A Range Of Off-Roaders For Your Outback Driving Needs This week we take a look at the best vehicles to tackle the Outback with. From Buggies to 4x4s, these rugged motors are not afraid of Australia's challenging terrain. If you missed last week's Forza Garage you can find that here. 1971 Meyers Manx The original Manx buggy, designed by Bruce Meyers, features a light-weight chassis and fiberglass body with the suspension and engine from a Volkswagen Beetle. A classic go-anywhere vehicle. 2011 Penhall Cholla A destroyer of dunes. The Cholla debuted at the Baja 1000 in 2011 and won in it's class with a four hour lead. Four hours. No matter what the environment throws at the Cholla, it can't be stopped. 1979 Toyota FJ40 The FJ is famous for it's offroad capabilities despite serious competition from Land Rover and Jeep. You may remember this one from the Top Gear Bolivia Special. Of course, Hammond's car was a "convertible" and for the most part broken in various ways. At least in Forza you don't have to worry about it's reliability! So that's this week's featured cars! Below you can find all of the cars announced this week. 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth 2013 Ford Focus ST 1973 Ford Escort RS1600 1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III 2014 Ford Fiesta ST 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 1986 Lancia Delta S4 2009 Lexus IS F 1957 Maserati 300 S 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata 1967 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series 1971 Meyers Manx 2012 MINI John Cooper Works GP 1998 Nissan R390 1979 Opel Kadett C GT/E 2011 Penhall Cholla 1971 Plymouth Cuda 426 Hemi 2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS ROCKSTAR EDITION 2013 Ram Runner 1993 Renault Clio Williams 1990 Subaru Legacy RS 1996 Subaru SVX 1979 Toyota FJ40 2005 TVR Sagaris 1990 Vauxhall Lotus Carlton
  3. Really fantastic car list so far. It's starting to make me excited despite my skepticism. :p
  4. I agree, if you don't notice latency, the latency isn't a problem.
  5. Well even in single player there's going to be latency. As you're streaming from place A to place B, and your controller inputs have to go from place B back to place A and then be reflected by the game going back from A to B. If that makes sense. :hmmm:
  6. Haha yeah, I imagine you'd see the Jags at classic car shows but I'm not sure about the rest. They must be very rare in any country.
  7. I'm in love with that Maserati. But saying that I think the Jag is going to be the most fun of this group. A big sloppy British boat of a thing.
  8. Yeah it's a lot more refined (I too have the DVD with the extra missions), I'm running REX and it's maxed out!
  9. You tried the steam edition Ozz? I've got a ton of mods (£65 worth that came in a sale for like £10 ) and I'm still getting 60-100fps on my 970.
  10. My favourite reviewer and my favourite car right now (yup, me - a Mustang fan :p)
  11. Ah that's very clever. I'm amazed there was no clipping. I'll have to put it on my wish list. :btup
  12. Dat turbo sound  How much did the mic cost and where did you mount it?
  13. Indeed he did.. maybe drop that into conversation? :p
  14. [headline]the banner contest #75[/headline] http://turboduck.net/img/tbc/tbc.jpg[/img] Previously on Lost tbc - Ozz took the lead before we even started voting by winning the thread with his glorious Golf in New York scene. Not Golf like the "sport" but like the Volkswagen. Congratulations Ozzmcom! Theme: Italian Cars/Bikes Deadline: Sun 28th August, 2016 - Entries | Sun 4th September, 2016 - Votes PRIZE The winning entry or entries will be posted up on our community forum banner and if large enough will also be put on our social channels too. (if multiple winners then images will be split between these as we see fit) RULES Stick to the implied theme (don't look for loopholes) - any being awkward for the sake of it will make you ineligible for entry Images must not exceed 5MB, and dimensions must be at least 1280x720. (please do not crop your pics to the banner dimensions) No post-production or editing of entry images except to crop or resize please, raw from the game is what we want - use the game settings to set up your image correctly The post that contains your entry image must be labelled with 'ENTRY POST' (makes it clear what image you are going with & for us to find :p) If you change your mind on your entry image - DO NOT post updated images in later posts, edit and replace the previous image with the new one (up until thread is locked for Poll creation) Each entrant must also cast a vote - if you fail to vote, your entry will be disqualified from Poll results You cannot vote for yourself - instant disqualification if so Winner chooses the next theme, unless they won prior, in which case the runner up decides - if no pick within 24 hours then theme will be free-for-all Winner has 24 hours to create a new thread or can PM or reply in the current TBC thread to have a staff member do so instead Winner must not try to sneak new rules in the new thread or alter existing rules - be clear on your theme to avoid this Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them are not eligible) (Please mention what game your screenshot is from if not obvious) Entering the competition with a TDU2 picture may result in suspension/ban of your account. Each contest is broken into an entries part and then a voting part, after which the winner(s) will be decided from the poll results Good luck and remember you can use the fancy new turboduck gallery (compression free)! :bparty:
  15. Good to see it's getting some exposure (nice one Ry) :) I'm calling dibs on the first interview though :cheeky:
  16. True. What I meant was even games 15-20 years ago had ways of counteracting the latency, and I believe it's entirely possible for more improvements here in the future. And of course there's always a possibility that someone (probably Google) will reinvent how internet connections work :p
  17. Couldn't sleep, perfect time to get frustrated on Forza. 1:24.002 in the Abarth. Challenging car, you can either steer or accelerate, not both. Which makes it sort of hard to control when it slides coming out of corners... :hmmm:
  18. Here we go folks! New challenge in a new location: Forza Motorsport 6 - Forza 6 Time Attack Challenge (Week 26) | turboduck forum
