Try putting TDUPE (fresh download) in a directory all to itself.

Yup. I'll just run it on TDUPE's shared hosting until it crashes. Then yes, I'll either get a dedicated server solely for the site or use my company's server. I have far too much money to waste on my projects so I'll probaby end up with some hardcore deally with 100GB of RAM, 1GBps bandwidth line and terabytes of storage space. I like to overdo things.

Yes. The physics aren't affected by language, just the car names. And turbo lag - that's more or less exactly what I said. Judging by your username I'd say you have a lot of knowledge in that area :p

I've kind of given up on it. I've had tonnes of submissions and none meet my standards. A few I've received just stop (like hitting a brick wall) at 407kph, one did this in 6th and just stuck, but when I changed into 7th it got faster. The most common problem though is that the Veyron has been elevated to sheer godlike status by Top Gear and whatnot. So I'm getting submissions for cars that turn as sharply as a Caterham and accelerate to 100kph in 2 seconds. I've driven a Veyron on the streets (albeit extremely briefly) and more importantly, I drove one on the street circuit in Adelaide prior to some GT championship deally that my buddy set up for me. And trust me, the Veyron isn't such a pleasant sensation on the track, so I'll give some pointers: Acceleration is brutal, as you should all know by the 2.5s. However in the Australian heat there is rather a lot of lag and the car doesn't actually feel like it gets off the line much faster than my Camry. The professional driver said the same thing - the car was much slower off the line in Australia than the UK. As far as TDU is concerned - Hawaii is rather a warm environment and you would net be getting top acceleration out of a Veyron. Cornering is (surprisingly) rather dodgy. The car is easy to drive but it is 4 wheel drive, produces a lot of downforce and it is heavy for a car of its type. If you've never seen a Veyron before. While the steering is quite sharp, it is weighted and the above factors cause a lot of understeer (or more accurately, a refusal to oversteer). It can not change direction like a flea. From what I can gather, the higher it is, the more likely the wheels will lock up. o.o What type of car have you got? All of mine can turn 360 degrees+ I'm fairly sure. I get this on the default Saleen when I launch with full throttle. When launching the car, wait till "GO!" has been said and just ease on the throttle. You may also need a gauge that goes higher than 10000RPM. Not an area I'm overally experienced with.

Been busy, but I whipped up a basic (but functional) mod manager the other day, thanks to Ryzza's request. The application allows you to download and install/uninstall mods at the click of the button. How it works is there is one big data file hosted online that looks like this: <mod> <name>Lamborghini Reventon</name> <year>2009</year> <version>1.1</version> <author>Tool831</author> <id>000000</id> <sound>fifomaniak</sound> <hud></hud> </mod> The application downloads this file whenever the user hits the update button - so you can immediately get the latest uploaded mods. Also hosted online are the actual mod files, sorted by ID. E.g /000000 /000000/exterior.bnk /000000/interior.bnk /000000/sound.bnk /000000/rim01.bnk /000000/rim02.bnk When you load the mod, these files are downloaded and stored on your computer (so loading a second time will be instant and save me bandwidth). Upon choosing which car to replace, the files are renamed to suit and placed in the respective directories and the original cars are backed up. Early WIP, will take about a month to do due to time restraints. Oh, and sorry Tool for not asking permission to use your pics, but you're never on MSN.

I hate old cars, let me just start by saying that. Old Astons, Corvettes etc are horrible horrible cars. But this one isn't. And neither was the Bugatti. You certainly have a knack for picking the right icons. This car was (not directly) competing (and winning) against 2 seater Ferraris, Aston Martins and Mercedes. It's a legendary car, which has been faithfully reproduced in stunning detail. It is one of, if not the, greatest mod here. I think this mod will be the first time I've ever left reputation...

In every respect of a car, the Jalpa is one of the greatest sports cars ever. But Lamborghini do pure insanity best. Cars that you should be having wet dreams over. So it's between the Countach and the Reventon for me. However, I've never seen a Countach in the flesh so I'll go for the Reventon since I saw one on display in a dealership in San Diego in September and it is the most awesome looking car ever and it's the only car I actually want.

Well that would mean Atari would have to model the entire insides of the car, which would mean bigger models, which would slow down online play drastically. So it's a no for me.

Should all be working in the latest download. There was a major bug in the dealership editor that removed your car from the dealership. The Kawaski was no biggy, the cameras are just left blank. Updated in the latest carData.mdb. Please REDOWNLOAD TDUPE 2.0. The dealership editor has been disabled until I have time to fix it.

It's not a config issue. Something went wrong with the publishing. I'll look at it tomorrow.

My presents were fairly dodgy tbh. I got my (live in) girlfriend (of 3 years) diamond earrings. She got me a bucket of M&M's. I got my niece a PS3, perfume, new swimsuit and Gucci sunglasses. She got me a $20 Bunnings Gift Card. On the plus side, my neighbour gave me a sweet as cheap little camera. Samsung ES15. First camera I've had in 10 years. I normally live by the motto, "If it's good enough to take a picture of, you probably won't forget it anytime soon." So no more relying on my girlfriend's camera or my phone when we go overseas :)

Djey's Patch adds several logos including Porsche, BMW and Bugatti. That's how the Porsche is done - it just changes the brand. With Djey's Patch, changing the brand to BMW with my tools or Djey's tools will change the logo as well.

I am going to recommend my tool for this since I've never actually done it with Djey's. You require Djey's Community Patch 1.67 Download TDUPE 1.1, and run TDUEditor.exe Load the Wiesmann MF3. In the name editor tab, change the brand "Wiesmann" to "BMW". Press Save Car Press File->Save Data. You require Djey's Community Patch 1.67, or else the logo will not load
