  1. All Hardcore mode does is add quite a lot of understeer to the car and makes the braking distance a bit longer. You can drive in Hardcore mode with your Driving Aide on and your car will rarely break out in a slide. Hardcore mode is way more realistic that the regular mode. That was the point of it.
  2. I like all of the new smilies that were added not too long ago but why is there no whistle one? Let's say you make a comment poking fun at somebody and you want to put the whistle smiley in for an effect? Here's an example... http://images.zaazu.com/img/male31-male-smiley-whistle-smiley-emoticon-000073-large.gif :cheeky:
  3. Due to the fact that the Firebird has an LT1 motor, which is the one of the worst V8's ever made, I'm going to be with everybody else on this one, Vantage.
  4. All I will say is, Gran Turismo 5! Or GT4 for that matter. :) Don't go strike up an argument now. :)
  5. I think it's a good thread. :) It's just a fun little activity for people to do.
  6. Chill/Ambient music :) And sometimes trance. :)
  7. That would be an awsome add on. I have the Xbox 360 version but I'd like to see this made. :)
  8. Damage... I don't think so because lets say, I'm enjoying a cruise and somebody that I don't know comes up and hits me for no reason and damages my car. I would be unhappy. :) But, the tires, that would be good because when you are the highest level, such as champion, you run out of things to spend your money on and with all of the cars a typical champion owns, tires can potentially be expensive.
  9. You stated that the point of supercars is to slide out the back end. As far as I know, supercars, such as Ferrari and Lamborghini, are a just name and people pay for a NAME. Not to slide out the back end. And also, if you have played Midnight Club L.A., then you'd know that the handling is horrible. Too arcadish. The handling without (H) mode is basically the same as MNCLA... ARCADISH And I'm sure you know this but, you can put the traction on Sport (or lower) and with most cars, you should not have the back end break out in a slide. The normal mode is way to unrealistic and, as stated above, you can take 90* turns at 150 like it's nothing... certainly sounds realistic doesn't it?
  10. Welcome to TDU-C! Enjoy it here. :)
  11. Hardcore mode is way more realistic than the normal mode. It is a VIDEO GAME so therefore, it's not going to be like driving a real car. And I'm not trying to be rude but, REGARDING REGULAR MODE, YOU SHOULD GO DRIVE A CAR AND COMPARE THAT TO REAL LIFE. It goes both ways and I can tell you, Hardcore mode is way better than the regular mode... But, this is my opinion and I hope that it's respected. :)
  12. I had one and it's really not that great of a car. (Just my opinion) I don't have it anymore but your best bet is to become champion and do the $70,000 race and rack up enough money to go buy one.
  13. I was going to get a new one after my Xbox got the RROD. Thank god I didn't buy a new Xbox then because I'd break it because of this. :)

    Hi!

Hi and welcome to the forums. :)
  15. It's a great game. :) I don't really like the handling, it seems to arcadish. Just like the last DiRT. But besides that, the graphics are really good and there's nice effects.
  16. That would be cool but just like with the Ala Wai Blvd racing in the city, everybody knows who is going to beat who. But I do agree, or maybe a drag strip with quarters. :)
  17. BMW would be a HUGE part to the game. Since Porsche is not in the game, Atari got around that by adding RUF. Oh, and welcome to the forums. :)
  18. Very unique! This is why I want the PC version. Keep up the good work. :)
  19. Welcome to TDU-C. Have fun and contribute a little. ;)
  20. FINAL UPDATE My Xbox 360 is now fixed and back in my home. It's been a lonely 21 days but I'm happy I have it back. :)
  21. Ahh, I'm sure it'll happen again it's just a matter of when. I'll just use it until it breaks and buy a new one.
  22. UPDATE - It has been shipped back so it's only a matter of days before it gets here. :)
